This document outlines plans to develop an attendance tracking system for a school using barcode scanning. The system will have a database with tables for student, teacher, and other staff information. Barcode cards will be used to track entry and exit times. When a card is scanned, the system will identify the person and log their time. This will automate attendance tracking and make it easier to monitor who is entering and leaving the school.

 Atschool, it is important to know the
attendance and late arrivals to the
educational community, therefore, a
management system easy to control

community, making it easier to know if
the person was late or if it left earlier
or have left school.

8. Description of the Project
• In the Santa Cecilia School
attendance is passed every day to
students, faculty and staff, with this
project each teacher will have to
register what time did he or she
entered and what time he or she left
the school.

• Each student has an ID and the
teachers and employees too. The
code that is contained in the card has
to pass in the bar code reader to
identify that the student, teacher or
employee; came to the institution.

 The particular problems should be
clearly defined to be solved, this will let
to know what is pretended to solve and
will provide useful information for the
solution planning.

or a monitor.

employee’s information, this tables will
content names, last name, ID Card, and
others.
