This document outlines a proposal from Collingwood Consulting, a group of 7 international business students from Queen's University, to provide pro bono consulting services. They seek a client facing an international business challenge or opportunity. If selected, the team will conduct extensive research, analyze the situation, and prepare a report with recommendations over 500 hours between November 2015 and August 2016. The diverse team aims to bring a unique cross-cultural perspective to help the client.

Dr Maponya was introduced to SENAI Institute during his business visit to Brazil, as a member of the delegation of the South African President, Hon. Jacob Zuma. He remained behind in Brazil, and was introduced to the SENAI Model.
This trip to Brazil and the discussions he held with the Brazilians gave birth to the idea of establishing the Dr Richard Maponya Institute for Skills and Entrepreneurship Development.

The Graduate Employment & Entrepreneurship Development Programme is offered jointly by Dr Richard Maponya Institute for Skills and Entrepreneurship Development and the University of Johannesburg (Faculty of Management).
This is experiential, rotational programme for the graduates from National Diploma in Business Management, National Diploma in Retail Marketing, and National Diploma in Small Business. It targets the top achievers in the three qualifications.
The first intake in 2016 is made of 30 graduates, and the spread is 10 graduates from each qualification.
The 30 graduates are divided into two streams:
• Employment Stream = 15 x Graduates
• Entrepreneurship Stream = 15 x Graduates
The graduates will be placed in the chosen companies for twelve months, and attend four x two days face to face development workshops per year, during which they will provide progress feedback to the Institute and the University, and receive high profile presentations, and dialogues by industry leaders.

Master of International Business Program
provides business graduates with complementary in-depth

We are looking for a client who is exploring an opportunity or facing
a business challenge with an international scope.
Our team will conduct extensive research into your business problem
or opportunity, analyze the situation and prepare a report detailing
our findings and suggested course of action. We will also be available
for a presentation and discussion of our findings.
Our consulting services will be provided pro-bono. Your organization
will be expected to collaborate with us by allocating the necessary
resources (staff time, information, etc.) for the development of the
project. A non-disclosure agreement will be signed to secure your
confidentiality interests.

6. Shreya holds 2 years of work experience in Audit and Taxation
with BDO Consulting Pvt. Ltd. as an Article trainee. Having
worked in the field of Indirect Taxation, she has sectoral
experience in transaction advisory services such as financial
services, hospitality and insurance. She will be completing
the Indian Chartered Accountancy in May 2016. During her free time,
she enjoys dancing, watching movies, and trying out new restaurants.
Fiorella has extensive experience in Canadian retail
industry, providing professional customer service, meeting
and exceeding targets, and increasing sales. Having
worked for a multinational company as an Assistant
Manager in the Human Resources department, Fiorella
has a wide operational experience in managing the most valuable
resources - employees. She is dedicated, accountable and determined.
Daniela was born in Montreal and raised in Portugal, where she
completed her Bachelor’s degree. She is working towards a
double degree, with a Master in Management from the University

and commerce. Alongside his studies, he was involved in
organizing large scale events through the University and in the
community. He has started two ventures in Kingston involving
programming, WDS networking hardware, and has strong relations

worked with several companies in the entertainment industry focusing on
marketing, planning, and managing local teams and resources. He has an

Vincent’s studies covered a wide range of topics in the fields of business

Chinmay specialized in Cost and Works Accounting in his Bachelor’s
degree. Being a qualified Company Secretary, he has worked with
the Tata group for over 15 months in the field of Corporate Law
and Compliance Management and with the Ministry of Corporate
Affairs, India for 2 months. He is passionate about Investment
Finance, cars and music. He is also a state level table tennis player.
