This document discusses construction waste (CW) in Saudi Arabia and opportunities to convert it from a threat to an opportunity. Saudi Arabia generates around 18 million tons of CW per year, with 87% being recyclable. The kingdom faces issues like crowded landfills and high construction costs due to improper CW disposal. New technologies and public-private partnerships operating CW recycling stations could help reduce landfill usage and save costs. With government support of recycling targets and incentives, construction waste can be properly processed and reused.
