project. They use techniques, skills,
and knowledge they’ve picked up
over the years or learned. Using this
knowledge-base and more they
initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and
complete projects based on
requirements. Project management
is a newer field, but since its
introduction, it’s become an
important part of construction.

One of the biggest challenges in

is undefined goals. Sometimes
stakeholders don’t know what
exactly they want, other times
they can’t agree. However, when

manager it’s difficult to manage
the project. Project managers can

questions and continuing to
communicate questions throughout
the project.

resources, teams sometimes become
less productive. In some cases they
won’t make the deadline regardless
of their high productivity.

to get participation, it’s important

The contractor should stipulate the
production schedule in the
construction contract which you can
use to monitor the progress of the
project. There are some acceptable
reasons for delays in the project
which you need to be aware of prior.
However, if of delays occur, it should
be addressed quickly communication
be made between the homeowner
and the contractor immediately.

19. Financial problems:
You may have payments due for the employees, vendors, equipment renters
and suppliers yet the amount for you is due on project completion. As the
contractor, you need to have enough cash to manage this problem. Going for
an open business line of credit will help you manage such bills and save your
reputation.

20. Actually construction projects are unique. problems are not
common, it depends of type of construction. if contractor
adopt false construction technique then problem may arise.
