In the world, it is observed that
“Conflicts lead to Globalization and globalization
leads to conflicts”.
Conflicts arise from diffrence of ideas and to resolve conflicts
countries and organisations work together showing Phenomenon of
Globalization.

Reason
• NATO was formed in 1949 right after W.W.II. Basic purpose of forming
NATO was to counter Soviet Unoin's increasing power and armies of
Soviet union in central and eastern Europe.
• United States and Soviet Union fought in same block during World
War I and II but systems in both the countries were different i.e.
America had Capitalism and Soviets had Communism and this was
the reason of Conflict between both countries.
• To neutralize Soviet power, NATO was formed.
• Warsa Treaty Organization.
• Signed in Warsaw.
• Established on 14 May,1955
• Treaty of Friendship, Co-operation and Military assistance.
• Collectiive defense treaty.
• Albania
• Bulgaria
• Czechslovakia
• East Germany

• Soviet Union
• Warsaw pact was signed in raction to addition of Western Germany
in to NATO.
• Moreover Soviets wanted to counter the NATO alliance as to acquire
Balance of Power.
• Formed in December, 2001
• U.N Security Council Resolution 1386 authorized ISAF.
• Initially force from 18 countries was fielded.
• Under command of United Kingdom.
• NATO assumed command of ISAF in 2003.
• One of largest coaltions of World

• To Train Afghan Military.
• To rebuild Government institutions

• ISAF also fought against Taliban and Al-Qauida in
Afghanistan

• 16.7% female Military officers.
• estimated to be 25% till 2028.
• Pakistani female officers are also active in Blue Berets.

• Pakistan 1st participated in 1960 in Congo.
• Pakistan took part in 41 missions.
• Since 2006 Pakistan made largest contribution with 130,000
peacekeepers.
• Now, Pakistan has given 10,000 peacekeepers.
• Over 200 Military observers.
• U.N Peacekeeeping was laucched in 1948 after Arab Israel war.
• Reasons for the creations were to observe the consequences and
implementations upon Armistice Agreement.
• War errupted at midnight of 14 May,1948. Israel declared
independence in the morning of 14 May, 1948.
• Coalition of Arab forces entered Palestine in morning of 15 May.
• At the end of War, Israel captured 60% are of Arab state of
Palestine.
