The Dramatization of Act 3 Scene 1 of William...
The Dramatization of Act 3 Scene 1 of William Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet Romeo and Juliet is a
very famous play about two lovers in two different families who are rivals. Romeo and Juliet has love,
passion, fighting, sadness, madness, lust and jealousy packed into one. It was written by William
Shakespeare around 1595 over 400 years ago. Romeo and Juliet is a great play for all ages and
genders this is one of the things that makes it so special. This is why it is still performed around the
world today. Before Fight This is how William Shakespeare makes the story dramatic before the fight.
In the play Shakespeare uses dramatic and emotive language for example for now those hot days, ...

Romeo happy and joyful as he meets his best friend Mercutio but his joy soon turns to anger when
Tybalt appears and a fight is started. Romeo tries to interfere with the fight and stop it, as he must feel
guilty if anything should happen to Tybalt because he has just married Juliet. Romeo is at first placid

A Personal Health Record ( Ehr )
A personal health record (PHR) is an emerging health information technology that patients may use to
participate in their own health care and improve the quality and efficiency of that care. Most articles
written about PHRs have been published since 2000.
PHR could be defined as An electronic application through which individuals can access, manage and
share their health information, and that of others for whom they are authorized, in a private, secure,
and confidential environment . A PHR should not be confused with an electronic health record (EHR).
While EHR is entered and edited by health care provider, PHR is accessed and, in some cases, edited
by the patient himself.
There are two main types of PHR, tethered, or connected, PHR and untethered, or standalone, PHR.
There are many benefits of PHR such as Empowerment of patients, Improve patient provider
communication and relationships, Increase patient safety, Access to patient data in emergencies,
chronic disease management, Improved quality of care, more efficient delivery of care, Better
safeguards on health information privacy, bigger cost savings and improve Behavioral habits.
There are many challenges facing adoption of PHR such as maintaining data security and privacy and
Digital divide and literacy related issues.

Paleolithic Lifeways The Paleolithic Era or the Stone Age was the beginning of humanity. The was the
age of foraging and stone. People often lived in small groups of only close family. The only way to
obtain food was by hunting and eating some plants, because of this people only had enough to feed
their small group or family. These people relied on mainly animals and some plants which meant they
moved when there food moved. Temporary homes were build with bones and hides which allowed
them to move the homes when they food wasn t there. Hunting is just one job specialization. Some
others include sewing, tracking animals and watching the kids. People traveled with only what they

Fast Food And The Food Industry
The majority of Americans enjoy fast food like bees enjoy their honey. Fast food is hard not to love
due to families experiencing fast paced days, parents who work more than 20 hours a week, and
having children with picky appetites can be rough. For most American families, it can be a challenge
to not consider eating fast food more than once a week. The fast food industry has grown
tremendously through the years. The one restaurant that is known all over the world for their golden
arches and their big macs is McDonalds. With knowledge and personal experiences, I can say that
McDonalds is by far the worst fast food restaurant in America. I believe this due to how unhealthy the
food is for our bodies, the disturbing facts about the happy meals, the poor service, and the non
cleanliness of the restaurant.
Fast food might be easy and cheap but people do not realize how harmful the food is for their bodies.
The problem is the food that is served at these types of restaurants, especially McDonalds, are high in
fat, salt, processed, and can have harmful ingredients included in the food. While home cooked food
takes time to plan and make people know what they are eating, that isn t the case at McDonalds:
McDonald s burgers retain its fresh appearance for a very long time. This can easily fool customers
who do not have a hint of this alteration in their burgers. The use of excessive preservatives is harmful
for your health which McDonalds seems to overlook for gaining more and more

The Importance Of An Ideal Environment For Working...
All four processes collaboration, consultation, teamwork, and co teaching, as they occur in the school
context, involve interaction among school personnel, families, and students working together to
achieve common goals. (Dettmer, Dyck, Thurston, 2005, p. 7)
Keeping that in mind, my goal is to empower students by using all four processes. As professionals,
we must support students in attaining not only academic skills but also in developing the skills,
knowledge, and attitudes they need to become caring and successful citizens.
Through collaboration, ideas can be shared, new and better strategies can be developed, problems can
be solved, students progresses can be better monitored, and their outcomes are evaluated effectively. ¬
(Lee, 1996).
Teamwork fuels group spirit, develops process skills that help teachers interact in more productive
ways, and fosters a more intellectual atmosphere. (Maeroff, 1993).

2. What do you describe as an ideal environment for working together with students, their families, co
educators, and related services personnel and support personnel in the community?
An ideal environment is one where we all work as a team and as a team; we must all share a common
goal. In order to create such environment, we must practice the following:
There should be trust amongst each other in order to be able to work together successfully.
According to Dettmer, Knackendoffel, Thurston (2009), when we have trust, others are more likely to:

Sociological Perspective Essay
The purpose of this paper is to construct an essay and define the sociological perspective. To be able
to explain how my knowledge of the Sociological Perspective has helped me to understand the social
world on both a macro and micro level. This essay will include the definition, discussion and
application of specific sociological terms, concepts and theories.
The study of sociology brings people to view topics in a unique way than others. The way we see the
world, human behavior, as well as its connection to society from an outside point of view is called
social imagination or perception. The sociological imagination searches for the link between micro
and macro levels of analysis, a concept that basically says that a person lives ... Show more content on

Second each structure has a function that contributes to the continued stability or equilibrium of the
unified whole. Therefore, everything is perceived in a big picture from a macro point of view on life in
our society. Manifest functions are the obvious, intended functions of a social structure, while latent
functions are the less obvious, perhaps unintended functions.
Conflict theory is the second major school of thought in sociology. It is a macro level type of approach
to understand social interactions in social life, just like functionalism. A difference in conflict theory is
that our society is viewed as always being in a constant struggle, unlike functionalism which theorizes
that our society is stable. Conflict theory is a paradigm that sees social conflict as the basis of society
and social change, and emphasizes a materialist view of society, a critical view of the status quo, and a
dynamic model of historical change. Some sociologists may believe that if these tensions, stresses, and
struggles never existed in our society people may be more driven to achieve greatness in education, or
simply more motivated to set higher goals. Just like functionalism, the conflict theory viewed society
on a macro sociological level, but the individual person in our society are having their lives shaped by
the economy, control and power. The conflict perspective s main idea is that there are opposing
interests

Lincoln Movie Analysis
Slavery was a massive issue many African Americans faced during the civil war. The film Lincoln,
directed by Steven Spielberg, is a fantastic historical movie. The film focuses on the life of Abraham
Lincoln during his second Presidential term. President Lincoln was the sixteenth president of the
United States at the time. Lincoln was honored by many because he advocated for the African
American people. Lincoln wished to pass the thirteenth amendment in the House of Representatives,
which abolishes slavery. He felt as though slavery was immortally wrong. Slavery was an issue for all

Being that the United States is contained with Democrats and Republicans. Lincoln success to passing
the thirteenth amendment was a controversial issue for many. As discussed in class these groups were
formed to give voice to ordinary people and to disable the Government from becoming tyrannical.
Many people disagreed with the passing of this law. Many feared that the abolishing of slaves will
affect many job opportunities for themselves. Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863,
which had freed most slaves as a fighter in the war but had not made slavery illegal. Lincoln faith
towards passing this issue was very extreme. Slaves where page the bare minimum for their service in
the war. However, in order for slavery to be abolished, Lincoln had to gain votes from Democratic and
Republican parties. Some politicians see peace as a necessary precursor to the passing of the
amendment, but others see the passing of the amendment as a step on the road to the end of the Civil
War. In order to gain votes for many different regions, Lincoln had to ensure individuals, pay and job
opportunities to be successful in the abolishment of slavery. Abraham Lincoln had a lot of faith and

Pros and Cons under the 8th Amendment
1.
Introduction
The U.S. Constitutional Rights are laws that guarantee the basic rights for the citizens. There are
twenty seven Constitutional Amendments in total, but 10 of them represent The Bill of Rights. The
Bill of Rights ensures the basic individual protections such as freedom of speech and religion. The Bill
of Rights became part of the Constitution in December 15, 1791 by George Mason.
In my opinion, the 8th amendment is important because this amendment gives people the right against
excessive bail, fines, or cruel and unusual punishment. No citizen of the United States should be
subjected to cruel or insane punishment, and they shouldn t have to pay a bail amount that is too
excessive for the crime. This Amendment was added to the Bill of Rights to ensure greater stability
and was a compromise between the legislature election in the original non party elections and the new
president. The Amendment s Bail Clause is a result of injustices perpetrated in England, were judges
often abused their power in determining whether bail should be allowed to suspects. After a number of
unsuccessful attempts at reforming the law, the English Bill of Rights in 1689 specifically outlawed
excessive bail. The U.S. supreme court s held in 1987 that the eighth Amendment s Bail Clause had
only one meaning that bail conditions, when compared with the magnitude of

Greek Women Vs Athenian Women
Ancient Greece had standards for its women that dictated how women were expected to compose and
behave themselves, in both the home and in public. Women were largely expected to behave
themselves in accordance to Greek mythological character Penelope, whom was feminine and
particularly dedicated to her spouse, which confirmed the value of chastity. The concept illustrated by
Penelope was rejected by Spartan women, whom challenged the norms of extreme femininity and
were even expected to partake in rigorous physical instruction (Germain, 2013). Euripides, a tragedian
of classical Athens even stated in his productions, No Spartan girl could grow up modest even if she
wanted to. You never find them at home; no, they go out with bare thighs and loose clothes, to wrestle
and run races along with the young men (Vernant, Lambert, 1995). Regulations commanding authority

The, Suspense, And The Unknown Essay
Detective novels of the mystery genre have always been fraught with terror, suspense, and the
unknown. Normally those such novels are subject to the public eye under the scrutiny of just how
much of it is real or simply superstition and science fiction just sensational writing. Sensational
writing in and of itself is not supposed to be thought provoking to the reader, but instead plays off the
reader s baser emotions that center around adrenaline like fear and excitement. While A Study in
Scarlet, by essence of being a detective novel, is still considered sensational writing, it brought a level
of subtleness to the sensationalism that evoked a deeper response in the readers. One particular event
where the sensationalism was extremely downplayed was the murder itself in the novel. For the police
detective Gregson and Lestrade, their biggest question at the scene of the crime was not really who
murdered but how he murdered as there was not any noticeable blood or wounds on the victim.
Lestrade even goes so far as to remark, This case will make a stir, sir...It beats anything I have seen,
and I am no chicken (Doyle 25). The unusual circumstances of the death cause the reader to think
deeper about how the victim could have possibly died, subtly ensnaring the reader to be even further
interested. Fear of the unknown is the greatest thing subtly sensationalism can do since it can evoke a
greater response in a few words than what pages of grotesque description can do. If Doyle

Samurai Kyuzo Character Traits
Kyuzo is a very interesting character in Akira Kurosawa s The Seven Samurai (1954). Kyuzo is first

at first rejects the offer of joining the samurai, however, he later changes his mind. Through his
serious, cold face it is hard to breakdown Kyuzo s character, nonetheless, we soon see the true
qualities of his personality. Courage and rectitude are the most valuable bushido virtues Kyuzo holds.

Linking a specific bushido virtue with Kikuchiyo could either be hard or easy depending on how one
may look at his attributes, however respect is one virtue Kikuchiyo shows in a not so obvious manner.
In Dave Kehr s Calling All Samurai Avengers: Your Anime Has Arrived he wrote Kikuchiyo,
regrettably, turns out not to be a colorful drunk, but a hulking, lunkheaded, poorly assembled robot,
who has the rasping, braggart voice (Christopher R. Sabat) of a professional wrestler, and the impulse
control to match . Although it is easy to see Kikuchiyo is not a polished samurai warrior, he holds
some valuable character traits which ultimately provide aid for both the bandits, and the famers.
Although he was never formally added to the group of Samurai by Kambei, Kikuchiyo showed his
worthiness during the scene when the samurai arrive at the village. Great tension could be felt between
both the famers and samurai until this was broken by Kikuchiyo s humorous character. The first sign
of respect shown towards Kikuchiyo was by Heihachi as he said, I guess we re really seven now
(Kurosawa 63), formally admitting Kikuchiyo to the group. Kikuchiyo without a doubt shows great
bravery and courage throughout the movie, however he also shows

Montague And Juliet In William Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet
Blame, assigning the responsibility for a fault or wrong. A play about two star crossed lovers leaves
their tragic ending to the question of, who is responsible? Romeo and Juliet, written by William
Shakespeare, explores the many possibilities of who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo Montague
and Juliet Capulet. Through his use of characterization and conflict, Shakespeare proves that families
should carry the blame as a whole. Illustrating how the Capulets parent their child compared to the
Montague techniques is one of many ways Shakespeare shows the role of family in blame. Juliet and
her parents had been discussing an arranged marriage between Juliet and County Paris. Unfortunately,
Romeo has already married Juliet so she is unable to follow her parents wishes. Juliet attempts to
express her desire to not marry Paris when her father becomes enraged and says, But, an you will not
wed, I ll pardon you. Graze where you will, you shall not house with me, (3.4.215 216). The Capulets
are remarkably strict parents and expect their daughter to abide by them at all times. The threat to
disown her if she doesn t marry the man picked for her makes this very clear. Before Juliet met Romeo
she did what was asked of her, however, when Romeo was in the picture he gave her a taste of what
she had been restricted from. Nevertheless, the sense of rebellion had drawn Juliet to Romeo.
Consequently, the desire for this new feeling led Juliet to make drastic decisions without thinking.

Genesis 1-2 Reflection Paper

Keywords, phrases, themes, and topics for Genesis 1 2.
Among the more interesting words from Genesis 1 are:
In the beginning... it alerts the reader of the fact that everything that has ever taken place as regards
man had a starting point, an origin. Time is a created object just as anything else is. Before time, in
some presently incomprehensible way, God and His kingdom stood outside of any movement or effect
from time. He can say He has a beginning in the sense that before time began, there was no need or
reason to mark the flow of events. The origin of time is truly the beginning of all things except for that
which is eternal. Unfathomable, yet also obvious.
I do not want to argue a time span for the creation or the longevity of the universes presence. I have
developed a growing inclination to see the state of innocence that had been before man s disobedience
to have been potentially, millennia. My tendency is to accept as fact, that God created all things in the
course of days. However, I am also aware that the Bible is not a physics book and does not require
literal understandings of those concepts that we have such difficulty interpreting. Neither would I want
to state a definitive timeline for man s history. I have my opinions, but in the end, they are just
opinions. God created ... We look at the mountains, or oceans, we see the stars which scientists assure

Essay on The Five Pillars of Islam
Islam is a religion of peace. There are 5 pillars of Islam which are mandatory. The five pillars are,
Shahadah, Salat, Zakat, Sawm, and Hajj, I will define the five pillars now.
1. Shahadah: Beleiving that there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad [peace be upon him] is his last

2. Salat: It is the prayers muslims offer five times a day, Fajr, zuhr, asr, maghrib and isha.
3. Zakat: It is to give 2.5% annually of one s saving to the needy people.

Abu Talib was very dear to Prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him], but he did not accept Islam. He

The prophet tried to convince his uncle to accept Islam and recite Shahadah till his uncles last breath,

The Pros And Cons Of The Legalization Of Marijuana
Many policies have come to the governments attention within the past decade concerning drug use and
prison reform. One policy that correlates to crime and drug use that has brought attention across the
nation is the legalization of marijuana. Marijuana has been consumed in the United States for
numerous years and has grown in popularity culminating in multiple states legalizing the drug. There
is large debate concerning whether nationwide legalization is worth the cost. Of course, with any
controversial decision, there are always going to be pros and cons. Those who oppose legalization
make claims that marijuana is a gateway drug, impairs judgment, and is addictive. Although those
points are true to an extent there are also many benefits. Of the many benefits, the most noteworthy
ones are that marijuana can bring a lot of money to the government and economy, it helps treat
sickness and diseases, and it can be a safer alternative than opioid based medications. The legalization
of marijuana would also highly impact the criminal justice system by making law enforcement more
accessible to other areas where they are needed which can save the government a lot of money. In this
instance, legalizing marijuana would bring many benefits to society such as stimulating the economy,
treating sicknesses, providing government relief, and lowering opioid use. The economy is vital to this

Disadvantages Of Online Recruiting
The Advantage and Disadvantage of Online Recruiting
After completing the chapters reading at Bethel University, this student have learned that more and
more companies are utilizing online recruiting as there main source of hiring process for their
organizations. Online job sites have transformed the recruitment landscape for both employers and job
seekers and largely increased the efficiency with which hiring decisions can take place. In addition to
the now conventional social networking recruitment tools, recruiters may find the use of more targeted
association sites to help narrow the candidate pool and make sure efforts are not being wasted on
uninterested parties. Local business forums, supported by a city or regional website, frequently have
job boards hosting local businesses and may also keep member directories and contact information
useful to recruiters. Industry sites typically have databases of resumes and direct discussion
environments that can facilitate direct electronic contact with a candidate. As for this adult student,
one would be more attracted to company that uses online recruiting methods for their hiring process.
Bethel, (2011), Online recruitment is the process of using the Internet to actively seek out and recruit
talented candidates for an organization. The Internet has quickly become one of the primary
recruitment tools for both internal recruitment and talent acquisition committees and third party
companies (p.144).

Football Concussions
Concussions in football have become more and more common even though the equipment has
apparently gotten safer. In retrospect it seems the equipment has made concussions more prominent.
Does this mean the sport of football altogether is unsafe or that the players are simply just not playing
the game correctly? Is this the person running the ball fault or the defensive players fault or both?
Over the years that football has progressed with safety, the physical demand of the sport has also
increased. Players went from being roughly only 5 11 on average to 6 2. Their weight as well has
increased. Along with these size increases their strength and speed has increased as well. With all
these changes and the demand becoming greater the equipment had to change as well. In particular
helmets had to change. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This falls mainly on the defensive player, the player that is delivering the hit. When playing football
everything happens in a flash. You have only a few seconds to react to everything going on. The
defensive of player goal is to prevent the other team from scoring at all means possible. If they can t
break up a pass before a receiver grabs the ball the only other option is delivering a blow to the
receiver to stop him from gaining more yards. In the result of this he may launch himself at the
receiver and make contact in the upper head area. In football this would be considered a defenseless
receiver depending on the case but it is still hard when playing at full speed to determine this. This
also takes away from the physical aspect of the game having to think where and how hard you can hit
someone when running 16 20 miles per hour and weigh 200 or more pounds. Some players jump off
the ground with over a thousand pounds of force meaning if they jump off the ground into another
player it will cause some serious pain. This is just player playing and it s kind of

Symptoms And Treatment Of Crohn s Disease
Crohn s disease is a debilitating inflammatory bowel condition that has the potential to affect any part
of the gastrointestinal tract. The disease due to its relapsing and remitting nature decreases a persons
quality of life and can lead to complications such as abscesses and fistulae formation, which then
require recurrent surgical interventions. The therapeutic endpoint in Crohns disease management is to
induce and sustain remission, decrease complications, hospitalisations and surgeries. Therefore,
therapeutic management aims to change the natural course of Crohns disease so that people with the
condition are not disabled by its relapsing nature. This review whilst establishing the clinical features
of Crohns disease aims to investigate the efficacy of these standard therapies. It also attempts to
explore alternative approaches to managing Crohns disease that focus on minimising flare ups and
complications. Conventional therapies include antibiotics, glucocorticosteroids, 5 aminosalicylic
acids, and to a lesser extent, immunosuppression with azathioprine /6 mercaptopurine or methotrexate.
Whilst, these therapies have helped control symptoms the review finds they have made no attempt to
modify the disease course. Recently, there have been advancements in treatment, with the introduction
of biological agents aiming to combat the ineffectiveness of standard therapy by inducing and
maintaining mucosal healing. This review will outline the extend advancements, such as these

The Trojan Women Movie Review
The film The Trojan Women is an anti war film not only condemning the emotional and societal
affects of war in general, but also focusing on the effects of such conflicts upon women in particular.
This focus allows the story to be more universally relevant, particularly so to the mothers, wives, and
daughters who watched the men in their lives being called to serve in the Vietnam War, and
subsequently watched the harrowing television coverage of hundreds of body bag being shipped back
home. Although the film is set in Troy, an invaded nation, and the Vietnam War was waged in a land
far away from the average viewer, the effect on women was very similar. In both cases, they were
forced to sit at home and hope for a favorable outcome. When it began to be clear that a victory was
not to be had, they had to deal with the reality of never being able to see their father, brother, husband,
or son again. Along with this experience was the natural inclination to question why such a fate was
theirs, why they were left without a lover, protector, or child, and what was to become of their futures.
The character of Hecuba, who has lost her husband, son, and later loses her grandson in the ravages of
war strongly portrays the vacillating emotions experienced by those left behind. She is at times strong,
protective of Cassandra, demanding to know the fate of her family, and wrathful toward Helen,
demanding that King Menelaus dispense with her immediately. Other times she is mournful and

Professor Sherry Turkle
The Flight from Conversation, by professor Sherry Turkle, addresses the issue of technology s pull
from conversation to simple connection. The essay s intriguing topic pulls the reader in, while the
author s excellent use of appeals solidifies her argument. Turkle s exceptional employment of appeals
strengthens the overall effect of her essay, leaving her audience with a strong argument. Turkle utilizes
her title and accolades to establish herself as a credible source. Professor Turkle also enhances her
argument by providing evidence and details from her studies to form a logical appeal. Finally, she tops
her argument off with an emotional connection to the audience by including the audience in her
argument, as well as by contributing specific ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Turkle persuades her audience by appealing to the emotional side of her audience. Throughout her
essay, Turkle refers to the audience as we or us , in doing so she intends to make her readers feel
included in her research and the argument. This strategy is an effective way to make the audience feel
that the author is specifically addressing them. The inclusion tactic employed compels the audience to
relate and agree with the author. Professor Turkle also utilizes specific anecdotes from her studies to
make her argument more relatable. By providing examples of other people s experiences to the
connection versus conversation argument, a reader is then able to associate themselves with that same
experience. In doing so, that same reader then forms an emotional connection to the anecdote, as well
as, to the argument. Professor Turkle employs one last emotional appeal at the very end of her essay.
Turkle challenges her audience to step away from the technological overload and come back to human
interaction, So I say, look up, look at one another, and let s start the conversation (Turkle). Professor
Turkle appeals to her audience s emotions and challenges them to act on their emotions and accept her
challenge to start the conversation. The emotional appeal in Turkle s argument effectively persuades
the audience to

The Realities Of Human Trafficking Essay
The Realities on Punishing Human Trafficking Crimes
Out of the thousands of people that have been human trafficking victims each year, only an
insignificant amount of them is actually reported. Imagine being in 8th grade. Having all sorts of
hopes and dreams. Now flash forward to dreams being taken away by a pimp that lures people into
human trafficking. In short, this is true for Holly Austin Smith, a survivor of human trafficking. The
punishment for the pimps that ruin the lives of these young girls is not severe. Therefore, there is not
much aid for the girls after they get rescued from this tragedy. A realization Holly had soon on and
explains, ...Although I was soon recognized to be a victim, the specialized aftercare needed for a
trafficking victim did not yet exist... Twenty years ago, there were no anti trafficking laws in place.
This pimp, who raped and lured a child into prostitution, served only 365 days in jail (Smith). This
young girl had recovered from this vile incident all by herself. Many other girls in her position have
gone through similar experiences and have been abused by their pimp. In addition, the pimp will not
receive much punishment. A heartbreaking story repeated across America and is very prominent in
other countries. In America, most of the time victims are the ones that usually serve time in jail since
in some cases it s considered prostitution, even if it was forced by the pimp. In most cases, the pimps

German Expressionism In Frankenstein
German Expressionism was a film movement that emphasized character emotions and thoughts
through the extravagant use of cinematic devices, particularly mise en scene and the narrative. These
films are most notable for their dark themes relating to death, fatality, insanity and horror. The films
aim to elicit an emotional response from the viewer, on the whole to shock, disgust and repel. Robert
Wiene directed The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari in 1920 and it is considered one of the most influential
films of the German Expressionist movement. The movement had great influence on Hollywood films
in the 1930 s and 1940 s. This paper will explore the 1935 Hollywood film The Bride of Frankenstein.

The narrative follows a concise accumulation of occurrences that lead to its climatic ending. From
Mary as a framing device, to the survival of the monster and Dr. Frankenstein, to Dr. Pretorius mad
plan to create a bride for the monsters, to the monster s plight in escaping the torch carrying villagers,
to Dr. Pretorius befriending the monster, and finally to the creation of the bride. The Bride of
Frankenstein has a profound structure, from its complex narrative to its sometimes unexpected mix of
horror, drama and comedy. The film plays with suspense through its use of dramatic shadows to give
off a shady and ominous feel. The shadows often mirror the actions of the characters. This in turn
hints to the sinister intent of the antagonists and furthers the eerie mood. Old, dark, winding staircases
that could crumble at any moment, with massive beams that blend into the shadows making the
darkness seem endless. His decaying castle and warped iron bars on its windows visually represent Dr.

Final Essay Question
Bernie Sanders in his early life grew up in New York and his father being occupied with his position
as a paint salesman gave Bernie a life in a struggling working class family. We must first understand
where Sanders is coming from, his childhood memory is vast of struggle and he s noticed during his
campaign run the large amounts of money being invested in each candidate. He seeks for America
being how it was first was with the public doing all the investments and not these largely owned
corporations and lobbying voters which have been already have a vote decision made by the
corporation they belong too. Bernie wants to pass a court decision to put regulations on how much
corporations and wealthy individuals invest their money on the presidential campaign.
This has almost succeeded in the past and is known as the Buckley V. Valeo case in 1976. The case
struck down on the limits of spending in campaigns, but upheld the provision limiting size of each
individual s contributions to the campaigns. President Gerald Ford has vetoed the bill and had passed
to the Federal Election campaign act of 1971. This was for the regulation of campaign ... Show more

Sanders get his bill acknowledged around the nation. The media will have a positive impact on what
Bernie Sanders is trying to accomplish. The media will always get the majority of the population on
their side, but also the logic of spending 4.4 Billion is absent. He supports unionization and neutrality
checks for the media. He wants people to hear all the different ideas and perspectives from the
multinational corporations. People will think to themselves how this money can help make our nation

Summary OfThe Assault By Harry Mulisch
In The Assault , the author, Harry Mulisch, depicts Anton Steenwijk as the protagonist, who witnesses
the violence at the night of the assault. In the subsequent years, Anton distances himself from the truth
of the assault due to his traumatic experience, his incomplete knowledge towards the event, and his
sorrowful memories. The traumatic experience makes Anton reluctant to go back to Haarlem, where
the violent assault takes place. The assault gives Anton a strike, and many times in the story, he
pledges never to go back to Haarlem. For example: He shouldn t have come; he should never have
returned to Haarlem. He should have buried all that, the way one buries the dead (Mulisch 61). It can
be inferred that deep in Anton s mind, what happens at that night is the most horrible moment to him,
and such unforgettable memories remind him of never coming back. The parallel structure here shows
a complex mindset that Anton has when he hesitates to return to Haarlem. The author uses consecutive
should and shouldn t stresses this tone. The all that here probably means all the tragic events happen in
Haarlem, including both the assault and deprivation of Anton s parents. Also, the author uses an
analogy, that Anton should forget all the things in Haarlem and never think about them again, because
it is a disgraceful memory of Anton, just like someone should bury the dead to wipe away the
mournful memories. Besides, Anton swears never to go back to Haarlem even if a job offers him a
hundred thousand gulden a year. (61) This shows Anton is resolved not to go back to Haarlem. His
reluctance to return is quite logical: Haarlem is a place teeming with unjoyful memories, and a place
where his house is burnt, and his parents are lost. Who likes to return to a place where such sorrowful
recollection flows? It is the presence of his traumatic experience that haunts Anton and holds him
from going back and seeing the place again. In the aftermath of the violent assault, Anton develops a
psychological distance that makes him too sorrowful to accept the truth. The sorrow of his can be seen
when Anton meets his former neighbor, Karin. As Once more the old bitterness welled up, the
inexhaustible bitterness. Was he meant to

Johannes Lindt The Other Essay
Within the realm of photography, the concept of the Other is frequently discussed especially in
conjunction with the notions of identity and the gaze. In this context, the Other refers to individuals or
groups that are not classified as normal or belonging due to some sort of fundamental difference that
exists between them and the observer. These differences can take the form of race, nationality,
religion, social class, gender, sexual orientation, and countless other characteristics, and often being
considered Other is rather derogatory. Not only does being considered Other alienate or even exotify
those being labeled as such, but creating this sort of division also functions to reaffirm the identity of
the dominant group doing the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lindt is best known for his images of native peoples from all around Australia and New Zealand
during the 1870s. Influenced largely by the Western colonialism of his time, Lindt took part in a
widespread enthusiasm for classifying the physical and cultural differences that existed between
foreign racial and social groups of people. His untitled photograph of an Australian Aboriginal man
holding an axe provides an excellent example of his style and motivations. The Aboriginal man that
Lindt used as his subject is dressed in a traditional loincloth type garment and he is strategically posed
with primitive and culture specific artifacts such as his axe and a shield. His body is toned, his skin is
dark and weathered, and his hair and beard are wild and unkempt. The man is placed in front of an
artificial backdrop of rugged mountains and surrounded by native plants. The image feels rather posed
and sterile which supplements the fact that it was created to document what Aboriginal people look
like, dress like, and live like for classification purposes. He puts their Otherness on display so that
Western people can learn about them and visually experience their exoticism in a manner that
objectifies the person within the image and robs them of a certain element of their own humanity.
Instead of being portrayed as the man that he naturally is, Lindt turns the subject of his photograph
into an anthropological representation for the entire race of Aboriginal people which is quite

Romeo and Juliet has love, passion, fighting, sadness, madness, lust and jealousy packed into one. It was written by William Shakespeare around 1595 over 400 years ago. Romeo and Juliet is a great play for all ages and genders this is one of the things that makes it so special. This is why it is still performed around the world today. A Personal Health Record ( Ehr ) A personal health record (PHR) is an emerging health information technology that patients may use to participate in their own health care and improve the quality and efficiency of that care. Most articles written about PHRs have been published since 2000. PHR could be defined as An electronic application through which individuals can access, manage and share their health information, and that of others for whom they are authorized, in a private, secure, and confidential environment . A PHR should not be confused with an electronic health record (EHR). While EHR is entered and edited by health care provider, PHR is accessed and, in some cases, edited by the patient himself. There are two main types of PHR, tethered, or connected, PHR and untethered, or standalone, PHR. There are many benefits of PHR such as Empowerment of patients, Improve patient provider communication and relationships, Increase patient safety, Access to patient data in emergencies, chronic disease management, Improved quality of care, more efficient delivery of care, Better safeguards on health information privacy, bigger cost savings and improve Behavioral habits. There are many challenges facing adoption of PHR such as maintaining data security and privacy and Digital divide and literacy related issues. 1. Fast food is hard not to love due to families experiencing fast paced days, parents who work more than 20 hours a week, and having children with picky appetites can be rough. For most American families, it can be a challenge to not consider eating fast food more than once a week. The fast food industry has grown tremendously through the years. The one restaurant that is known all over the world for their golden arches and their big macs is McDonalds. With knowledge and personal experiences, I can say that McDonalds is by far the worst fast food restaurant in America. I believe this due to how unhealthy the food is for our bodies, the disturbing facts about the happy meals, the poor service, and the non cleanliness of the restaurant. Fast food might be easy and cheap but people do not realize how harmful the food is for their bodies. The problem is the food that is served at these types of restaurants, especially McDonalds, are high in fat, salt, processed, and can have harmful ingredients included in the food. While home cooked food takes time to plan and make people know what they are eating, that isn t the case at McDonalds: McDonald s burgers retain its fresh appearance for a very long time. All four processes collaboration, consultation, teamwork, and co teaching, as they occur in the school context, involve interaction among school personnel, families, and students working together to achieve common goals. (Dettmer, Dyck, Thurston, 2005, p. 7) Keeping that in mind, my goal is to empower students by using all four processes. As professionals, we must support students in attaining not only academic skills but also in developing the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they need to become caring and successful citizens. Through collaboration, ideas can be shared, new and better strategies can be developed, problems can be solved, students progresses can be better monitored, and their outcomes are evaluated effectively. ¬ (Lee, 1996). Teamwork fuels group spirit, develops process skills that help teachers interact in more productive ways, and fosters a more intellectual atmosphere. (Maeroff, 1993). Another goal 2. Conflict theory is the second major school of thought in sociology. It is a macro level type of approach to understand social interactions in social life, just like functionalism. A difference in conflict theory is that our society is viewed as always being in a constant struggle, unlike functionalism which theorizes that our society is stable. Conflict theory is a paradigm that sees social conflict as the basis of society and social change, and emphasizes a materialist view of society, a critical view of the status quo, and a dynamic model of historical change. Introduction The U.S. Constitutional Rights are laws that guarantee the basic rights for the citizens. There are twenty seven Constitutional Amendments in total, but 10 of them represent The Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights ensures the basic individual protections such as freedom of speech and religion. The Bill of Rights became part of the Constitution in December 15, 1791 by George Mason. In my opinion, the 8th amendment is important because this amendment gives people the right against excessive bail, fines, or cruel and unusual punishment. No citizen of the United States should be subjected to cruel or insane punishment, and they shouldn t have to pay a bail amount that is too excessive for the crime. This Amendment was added to the Bill of Rights to ensure greater stability and was a compromise between the legislature election in the original non party elections and the new president. The Amendment s Bail Clause is a result of injustices perpetrated in England, were judges often abused their power in determining whether bail should be allowed to suspects. After a number of unsuccessful attempts at reforming the law, the English Bill of Rights in 1689 specifically outlawed excessive bail. The U.S. supreme court s held in 1987 that the eighth Amendment s Bail Clause had only one meaning that bail conditions, when compared with the magnitude of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Women were largely expected to behave themselves in accordance to Greek mythological character Penelope, whom was feminine and particularly dedicated to her spouse, which confirmed the value of chastity. The concept illustrated by Penelope was rejected by Spartan women, whom challenged the norms of extreme femininity and were even expected to partake in rigorous physical instruction (Germain, 2013). • 15. The, Suspense, And The Unknown Essay Detective novels of the mystery genre have always been fraught with terror, suspense, and the unknown. Normally those such novels are subject to the public eye under the scrutiny of just how much of it is real or simply superstition and science fiction just sensational writing. Sensational writing in and of itself is not supposed to be thought provoking to the reader, but instead plays off the reader s baser emotions that center around adrenaline like fear and excitement. While A Study in Scarlet, by essence of being a detective novel, is still considered sensational writing, it brought a level of subtleness to the sensationalism that evoked a deeper response in the readers. One particular event where the sensationalism was extremely downplayed was the murder itself in the novel. For the police detective Gregson and Lestrade, their biggest question at the scene of the crime was not really who murdered but how he murdered as there was not any noticeable blood or wounds on the victim. Lestrade even goes so far as to remark, This case will make a stir, sir...It beats anything I have seen, and I am no chicken (Doyle 25). The unusual circumstances of the death cause the reader to think deeper about how the victim could have possibly died, subtly ensnaring the reader to be even further interested. Fear of the unknown is the greatest thing subtly sensationalism can do since it can evoke a greater response in a few words than what pages of grotesque description can do. If Doyle ... • 17. Montague And Juliet In William Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet Blame, assigning the responsibility for a fault or wrong. A play about two star crossed lovers leaves their tragic ending to the question of, who is responsible? Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, explores the many possibilities of who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. Through his use of characterization and conflict, Shakespeare proves that families should carry the blame as a whole. Illustrating how the Capulets parent their child compared to the Montague techniques is one of many ways Shakespeare shows the role of family in blame. Juliet and her parents had been discussing an arranged marriage between Juliet and County Paris. Unfortunately, Romeo has already married Juliet so she is unable to follow her parents wishes. Juliet attempts to express her desire to not marry Paris when her father becomes enraged and says, But, an you will not wed, I ll pardon you. Graze where you will, you shall not house with me, (3.4.215 216). The Capulets are remarkably strict parents and expect their daughter to abide by them at all times. The threat to disown her if she doesn t marry the man picked for her makes this very clear. Before Juliet met Romeo she did what was asked of her, however, when Romeo was in the picture he gave her a taste of what she had been restricted from. Nevertheless, the sense of rebellion had drawn Juliet to Romeo. Consequently, the desire for this new feeling led Juliet to make drastic decisions without thinking. ... • 23. Disadvantages Of Online Recruiting The Advantage and Disadvantage of Online Recruiting After completing the chapters reading at Bethel University, this student have learned that more and more companies are utilizing online recruiting as there main source of hiring process for their organizations. Online job sites have transformed the recruitment landscape for both employers and job seekers and largely increased the efficiency with which hiring decisions can take place. In addition to the now conventional social networking recruitment tools, recruiters may find the use of more targeted association sites to help narrow the candidate pool and make sure efforts are not being wasted on uninterested parties. Local business forums, supported by a city or regional website, frequently have job boards hosting local businesses and may also keep member directories and contact information useful to recruiters. Industry sites typically have databases of resumes and direct discussion environments that can facilitate direct electronic contact with a candidate. • 25. Football Concussions Concussions in football have become more and more common even though the equipment has apparently gotten safer. In retrospect it seems the equipment has made concussions more prominent. Does this mean the sport of football altogether is unsafe or that the players are simply just not playing the game correctly? Is this the person running the ball fault or the defensive players fault or both? Over the years that football has progressed with safety, the physical demand of the sport has also increased. Players went from being roughly only 5 11 on average to 6 2. Their weight as well has increased. Along with these size increases their strength and speed has increased as well. With all these changes and the demand becoming greater the equipment had to change as well. In particular helmets had to change. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This falls mainly on the defensive player, the player that is delivering the hit. When playing football everything happens in a flash. You have only a few seconds to react to everything going on. The defensive of player goal is to prevent the other team from scoring at all means possible. If they can t break up a pass before a receiver grabs the ball the only other option is delivering a blow to the receiver to stop him from gaining more yards. In the result of this he may launch himself at the receiver and make contact in the upper head area. In football this would be considered a defenseless receiver depending on the case but it is still hard when playing at full speed to determine this. This also takes away from the physical aspect of the game having to think where and how hard you can hit someone when running 16 20 miles per hour and weigh 200 or more pounds. Some players jump off the ground with over a thousand pounds of force meaning if they jump off the ground into another player it will cause some serious pain. • 26. Symptoms And Treatment Of Crohn s Disease Crohn s disease is a debilitating inflammatory bowel condition that has the potential to affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract. The disease due to its relapsing and remitting nature decreases a persons quality of life and can lead to complications such as abscesses and fistulae formation, which then require recurrent surgical interventions. The therapeutic endpoint in Crohns disease management is to induce and sustain remission, decrease complications, hospitalisations and surgeries. Therefore, therapeutic management aims to change the natural course of Crohns disease so that people with the condition are not disabled by its relapsing nature. This review whilst establishing the clinical features of Crohns disease aims to investigate the efficacy of these standard therapies. It also attempts to explore alternative approaches to managing Crohns disease that focus on minimising flare ups and complications. Conventional therapies include antibiotics, glucocorticosteroids, 5 aminosalicylic acids, and to a lesser extent, immunosuppression with azathioprine /6 mercaptopurine or methotrexate. Whilst, these therapies have helped control symptoms the review finds they have made no attempt to modify the disease course. Recently, there have been advancements in treatment, with the introduction of biological agents aiming to combat the ineffectiveness of standard therapy by inducing and maintaining mucosal healing. • 27. The Trojan Women Movie Review The film The Trojan Women is an anti war film not only condemning the emotional and societal affects of war in general, but also focusing on the effects of such conflicts upon women in particular. This focus allows the story to be more universally relevant, particularly so to the mothers, wives, and daughters who watched the men in their lives being called to serve in the Vietnam War, and subsequently watched the harrowing television coverage of hundreds of body bag being shipped back home. Although the film is set in Troy, an invaded nation, and the Vietnam War was waged in a land far away from the average viewer, the effect on women was very similar. In both cases, they were forced to sit at home and hope for a favorable outcome. When it began to be clear that a victory was not to be had, they had to deal with the reality of never being able to see their father, brother, husband, or son again. Along with this experience was the natural inclination to question why such a fate was theirs, why they were left without a lover, protector, or child, and what was to become of their futures. The character of Hecuba, who has lost her husband, son, and later loses her grandson in the ravages of war strongly portrays the vacillating emotions experienced by those left behind. She is at times strong, protective of Cassandra, demanding to know the fate of her family, and wrathful toward Helen, demanding that King Menelaus dispense with her immediately. Other times she is mournful and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Bernie Sanders Vahag Chakerian 12/11/2015 Final Essay Question Bernie Sanders in his early life grew up in New York and his father being occupied with his position as a paint salesman gave Bernie a life in a struggling working class family. Bernie wants to pass a court decision to put regulations on how much corporations and wealthy individuals invest their money on the presidential campaign. • 32. Summary OfThe Assault By Harry Mulisch In The Assault , the author, Harry Mulisch, depicts Anton Steenwijk as the protagonist, who witnesses the violence at the night of the assault. In the subsequent years, Anton distances himself from the truth of the assault due to his traumatic experience, his incomplete knowledge towards the event, and his sorrowful memories. The traumatic experience makes Anton reluctant to go back to Haarlem, where the violent assault takes place. The assault gives Anton a strike, and many times in the story, he pledges never to go back to Haarlem. For example: He shouldn t have come; he should never have returned to Haarlem. He should have buried all that, the way one buries the dead (Mulisch 61). It can be inferred that deep in Anton s mind, what happens at that night is the most horrible moment to him, and such unforgettable memories remind him of never coming back. The parallel structure here shows a complex mindset that Anton has when he hesitates to return to Haarlem. The author uses consecutive should and shouldn t stresses this tone. The all that here probably means all the tragic events happen in Haarlem, including both the assault and deprivation of Anton s parents. Also, the author uses an analogy, that Anton should forget all the things in Haarlem and never think about them again, because it is a disgraceful memory of Anton, just like someone should bury the dead to wipe away the mournful memories. Besides, Anton swears never to go back to Haarlem even if a job offers him a hundred thousand gulden a year. (61) This shows Anton is resolved not to go back to Haarlem. His reluctance to return is quite logical: Haarlem is a place teeming with unjoyful memories, and a place where his house is burnt, and his parents are lost. Who likes to return to a place where such sorrowful recollection flows? It is the presence of his traumatic experience that haunts Anton and holds him from going back and seeing the place again. In the aftermath of the violent assault, Anton develops a psychological distance that makes him too sorrowful to accept the truth. The sorrow of his can be seen when Anton meets his former neighbor, Karin. As Once more the old bitterness welled up, the inexhaustible bitterness. Was he meant to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. Johannes Lindt The Other Essay Within the realm of photography, the concept of the Other is frequently discussed especially in conjunction with the notions of identity and the gaze. In this context, the Other refers to individuals or groups that are not classified as normal or belonging due to some sort of fundamental difference that exists between them and the observer. These differences can take the form of race, nationality, religion, social class, gender, sexual orientation, and countless other characteristics, and often being considered Other is rather derogatory. Not only does being considered Other alienate or even exotify those being labeled as such, but creating this sort of division also functions to reaffirm the identity of the dominant group doing the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Lindt is best known for his images of native peoples from all around Australia and New Zealand during the 1870s. Influenced largely by the Western colonialism of his time, Lindt took part in a widespread enthusiasm for classifying the physical and cultural differences that existed between foreign racial and social groups of people. His untitled photograph of an Australian Aboriginal man holding an axe provides an excellent example of his style and motivations. The Aboriginal man that Lindt used as his subject is dressed in a traditional loincloth type garment and he is strategically posed with primitive and culture specific artifacts such as his axe and a shield. His body is toned, his skin is dark and weathered, and his hair and beard are wild and unkempt. The man is placed in front of an artificial backdrop of rugged mountains and surrounded by native plants. The image feels rather posed and sterile which supplements the fact that it was created to document what Aboriginal people look like, dress like, and live like for classification purposes. He puts their Otherness on display so that Western people can learn about them and visually experience their exoticism in a manner that objectifies the person within the image and robs them of a certain element of their own humanity. Instead of being portrayed as the man that he naturally is, Lindt turns the subject of his photograph into an anthropological representation for the entire race of Aboriginal people which is quite ...
