This document outlines the topics covered in the ECE 621 course on complex electromagnetic scattering and applications. The course covers fundamentals of electromagnetic wave scattering, modeling of wave propagation and scattering problems using analytical methods like Maxwell's equations and asymptotic techniques, as well as numerical methods like the finite difference time domain method, method of moments, and parabolic equation method. A significant portion of the course focuses on modeling wave scattering from wedge structures using high frequency asymptotic models and comparing the results to numerical models like FDTD and MoM. References are provided for additional reading.
