This document provides an overview of bioterrorism and anthrax as a biological weapon. It discusses what bioterrorism is, how anthrax can be used as a weapon, historical examples of bioterrorism including anthrax attacks in the US in 2001, and the importance of developing strategies to prevent and respond to potential bioterrorism threats like anthrax in Malaysia. It argues that lessons from past incidents show anthrax is a serious bioterrorism risk due to its lethal potential if aerosolized and resistance. Developing defenses through collaboration between Malaysian health and defense agencies is important for national security.
