 Success of one and failures of other.it means if one person
obtains his goal then at same time other person suffers loss.
Both are known as competition.it may direct or indirect.it
may occur between two or more persons.
FEATURES OF COMPETITION
 success of one and failures of others.
 Competition builds character
 It drives innovation, inspire perseverance and builds
team spirit.
 Competitor-A business that provides similar products or
services.
 The presence of competitors in an industry drives down
the price of goods and services.
COOPERATION
 Process of groups of organisms working or action together for
their common and mutual benefits.
 Collective action of one person with other towards a common
goal.
 Cooperatives are dedicated to the values of openness, social
responsibility and caring for others.
 Tribes were organized as cooperative structures, allocating
jobs and resources among each other, only trading with the
external communities.
COMPETITION AND COOPERATION
 Cooperation Key for all round success and heathy
competition is a poerful motivator for excellence.
 Competition encourages cooperation.
 Swami vivekanand said” Arise, wake and do not stop till the
goal is reached.”

  • 4. COMPETITION  Success of one and failures of other.it means if one person obtains his goal then at same time other person suffers loss. Both are known as competition.it may direct or indirect.it may occur between two or more persons.

FEATURES OF COMPETITION  success of one and failures of others.  Competition builds character  It drives innovation, inspire perseverance and builds team spirit.  Competitor-A business that provides similar products or services.  The presence of competitors in an industry drives down the price of goods and services.

COOPERATION  Process of groups of organisms working or action together for their common and mutual benefits.  Collective action of one person with other towards a common goal.  Cooperatives are dedicated to the values of openness, social responsibility and caring for others.  Tribes were organized as cooperative structures, allocating jobs and resources among each other, only trading with the external communities.
