and skills of employees.
• Expanding employees skills to meet the challenges arising from increased competition due to
globalization, changes in technology and new economic trends.
• Encouraging cross-company collaboration in the field of human resource development,
establishing synergies and implementing knowledge transfers through internal trainings.
• Creating a series of competency models for sector specific profiles.
• Development and implementation of key sector specific training programs.
• Providing an excellent experience for participants with the aim of reaching long term results
(Lifelong learning).
• To increase the number, quality and variety of training programs.

What are CC for HR
Development:
• Companies from specific sectors
establish a partnership managed
by a project team, develop a
competency model, identify the
skill gaps and develop and
implement relevant training
programs.
• These programs take the form of
in-company training, external
training or are organized
specifically for the partnership
bringing together participants
from different companies that
require similar skills (i.e.
engineers, managers, marketing
specialists etc.).
Project results in numbers:
• 3 public calls for application (2010-2018 :
11.750.000 EUR) + 1 open call (900.000 EUR),
• 36 sectoral partnerships and 714 companies
supported,
• 81.758 participations in training programs,
• Skills developed:
• 60% sector specific,
• 40% »soft« skills,
• 30 competency models
created.
Competence Centres for Human Resource
Development
Competent Slovenia
A series of workshops and trainings designed for employees and
top management from all over Slovenia. Its goal is to provide
and improve a wide range of competences and to reduce the
existing discrepancies between current skill levels and emerging
needs of the global market. In addition, one of its fundamental
goals is to raise the overall awareness of managers and
key employees about the importance of lifelong
learning.
Competent Slovenia in numbers:
over 2100 participants from over 300 companies, 94 workshops with
Slovenian and international trainers (dr. Danah Zohar, Richard Hytner, Angus I.
Kingon, Alexander Engels, Don McKenzie, Daniel Newman, Nicole Ashe - Growing
Leaders, Deiric McCann, Boerge Didrichsen, etc.).

  • 2. • Spurring strategic development of human resources and attain higher level of knowledge and skills of employees. • Expanding employees skills to meet the challenges arising from increased competition due to globalization, changes in technology and new economic trends. • Encouraging cross-company collaboration in the field of human resource development, establishing synergies and implementing knowledge transfers through internal trainings. • Creating a series of competency models for sector specific profiles. • Development and implementation of key sector specific training programs. • Providing an excellent experience for participants with the aim of reaching long term results (Lifelong learning). • To increase the number, quality and variety of training programs.   • 3. What are CC for HR Development: • Companies from specific sectors establish a partnership managed by a project team, develop a competency model, identify the skill gaps and develop and implement relevant training programs. • These programs take the form of in-company training, external training or are organized specifically for the partnership bringing together participants from different companies that require similar skills (i.e. engineers, managers, marketing specialists etc.). Project results in numbers: • 3 public calls for application (2010-2018 : 11.750.000 EUR) + 1 open call (900.000 EUR), • 36 sectoral partnerships and 714 companies supported, • 81.758 participations in training programs, • Skills developed: • 60% sector specific, • 40% »soft« skills, • 30 competency models created.   • 4. Competent Slovenia A series of workshops and trainings designed for employees and top management from all over Slovenia. Its goal is to provide and improve a wide range of competences and to reduce the existing discrepancies between current skill levels and emerging needs of the global market. In addition, one of its fundamental goals is to raise the overall awareness of managers and key employees about the importance of lifelong learning. Competent Slovenia in numbers: over 2100 participants from over 300 companies, 94 workshops with Slovenian and international trainers (dr. Danah Zohar, Richard Hytner, Angus I. Kingon, Alexander Engels, Don McKenzie, Daniel Newman, Nicole Ashe - Growing Leaders, Deiric McCann, Boerge Didrichsen, etc.).
