This document compares and contrasts two different newspaper styles - tabloid and broadsheet newspapers. Tabloid newspapers tend to be more sensationalist and focus on emotional stories written in an easy to read style, while broadsheets provide more factual reporting and are written at a higher reading level. However, both styles share the goal of appealing to large readerships and reporting current news and affairs. Their differences come down to the way they present stories and the preferences of their target audiences.
