This document outlines a communication plan to educate Oklahoma firefighters and motivate them to take political action to defeat pension reform efforts. The plan has two parts - education and action. It will educate members on key arguments against pension reforms through repeated messaging via multiple channels like email, text, mail and phone calls. It will also identify specific actions for members to take, like calling legislators, and time those actions to political events to influence votes. The plan will be managed by a small committee to ensure efficient and coordinated execution that can quickly respond to changing political situations.
