MAYOR’S REPORT
This report covers the accomplishments/activities of the English
as a Second Language Advocate (ESLA) officers undertaken in the
months of June and July, 2016 respectively.
A. Conducted election for a new set of ESLA officers on June 16,
2016 for Academic Year 2016-2017;
B. Conducted meetings on June 23, 2016 and June 28, 2016 with
the newly elected ESLA officers in preparation for the 1st ESLA
General Assembly Meeting this July, 2016 with respect to the
ratification of ESLA Constitution and By-Laws, special
committees for proposal making and further
deliberations/reviews/discussions of prepared proposals subject
for approval and confirmation to this meeting;
C. Approved/passed per ESLA Resolution No. 15, S.2016 also known
as “Requesting the ESLA Officers to donate one unit of
Wall Clock in the CTE Building Room no.201” dated June
23, 2016;
D. Attended Acquaintance and Induction Program last July 4, 2016.
