GoPro offers a wearable computer for extreme sports that is much more durable than other cameras. This camera is useful for board, kite, and wind surfers, skiers, scuba and sky divers, other extreme sports enthusiasts, drones, and the military. GoPro is building a community of users, online videos, and complementary products that is expanding GoPro’s methods of value capture. AVL chose rFpro simulation software to test vehicle powertrains because it provides seamless integration of vehicle models and an immersive experience for drivers. rFpro allows drivers to feel events like gear shifts. IDIADA used rFpro to help Hyundai develop commercial vehicle dynamics by linking models with realistic graphics. The Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute uses an rFpro-equipped simulator to test vehicles, allowing tests that would take weeks on a track to be done in days. Ford uses an rFpro simulator to develop NASCAR and road vehicles. Ferrari chose rFpro to upgrade its F1 simulator for its realistic feel and high correlation with measured data.
