The document summarizes the British Board of Film Classification's rating of 15. A 15 rating means that no one under 15 is allowed to see the film. Films with a 15 rating can contain strong violence, frequent strong language, portrayals of sexual activity, brief scenes of sexual violence or references to it, discriminatory language, and depictions of drug use as long as they do not promote drug misuse. Sex scenes can be depicted but without strong detail, and strong language is allowed without an upper limit on usage. Dangerous behavior is allowed if it does not dwell on details that could be copied.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

2. British Board of Film
Classification: Rating 15
S For our horror themed video we have established though
our audience research that the age rating of 15 would be
suitable for those who we’ve targeted to watch our film.
What does the 15 symbol mean?
S No-one under 15 is allowed to see a 15 film at the
cinema or buy or rent a 15 rated video. 15 rated works
are not suitable for children under 15 years of age.
3. What might I see in a 15
rated film or video?
Any of the following:
S Strong violence
S Frequent strong language (e.g. 'f***').
S Portrayals of sexual activity
S Strong verbal references to sex
S Sexual nudity
S Brief scenes of sexual violence or verbal references to sexual violence
S Discriminatory language or behaviour
S Drug taking
4. How much strong language
is allowed in a 15?
S There could potentially be a great deal. At 15 there is no
upper limit on the number of uses of strong language
(e.g. ‘f***’).
S Occasionally there may be uses of the strongest terms
(e.g. 'c***'), depending on the manner in which they are
used, who is using the language, its frequency and any
special contextual justification. However, continued or
aggressive use will not normally be passed 15.
5. How much sex and nudity is
allowed at 15?
S At 15 sexual activity can be portrayed, but usually without strong
detail. Some sex scenes can be quite long at this category.
S Though nudity may be allowed in a sexual context there will
usually be no strong detail. There are no constraints on nudity in a
non-sexual or educational context.
S There can be strong references to sex and sexual behaviour, but
especially strong or crude references are unlikely to be acceptable
unless justified by context. Sex and sex references are treated
the same irrespective of sexuality
6. What about dangerous
behaviour or things teens
might copy?
S We consider the risk of potential harm to impressionable
teenagers. For example, dangerous behaviour such as
hanging, suicide and self-harming should not dwell on
detail which could be copied. Whether the depiction of
easily accessible weapons is acceptable will depend on
factors such as realism, context and setting.
7. Can you see drugs in a 15
rated film or video?
S At 15 drug taking may be shown but the work as a whole
must not promote or encourage drug misuse (for
example, through instructional detail). The misuse of
easily accessible and highly dangerous substances like
aerosols or solvents is unlikely to be acceptable at 15.
