STEADICAM AERO; STABILIZING SYSTEM FOR LIGHT TO MEDIUM WEIGHT
CAMERA SETUPS
Hauppauge, NY- October 6, 2016- Steadicam, a division of The Tiffen Company, has released
the Steadicam AERO, a versatile Steadicam system for light to medium weight camera setups.
The AERO sled was designed to replace both the former Steadicam Pilot and Scout models, a
design challenge contributing to the versatility of this new rig. With the Steadicam AERO
stabilizing system, operators will be able to shoot exceptionally
stable footage no matter the operating context.

. Lightweight AERO sled base detaches from post for compact
storage and easy transportation
• Tool-free sled for easy adjustments and field maintenance
• Quick release camera plate locking system
• Telescoping, 2-section, high modulus carbon fiber post
Compatibility:
The AERO can be purchased as the sled alone, with an optional 7”
1000 nit 3G-HD/SD/HDMI monitor, or as a complete Steadicam
system available in the following weight classes:
• AERO 15 System- AERO Sled with monitor, A-15 Arm & Vest (for camera setups up to
10lb/ 4.5 kg)
• AERO 30 System- AERO Sled with monitor, A-15 Arm & Vest (for camera setups up to
20lb/ 9kg)
To accommodate a variety of camera setups, the AERO is offered with battery mounts for the
following battery types:
• V-Lock
• Anton-Bauer
• Sony BP-U
