Collaborative learning allows teachers to implement group work that considers students' varied abilities and interests. It provides students opportunities to demonstrate their strengths to achieve common goals. While cooperative learning focuses on working together, collaborative learning emphasizes achieving shared objectives through respecting each person's contributions in group settings. Collaborative activities can deepen learning through information processing from diverse perspectives and synthesizing information. For successful collaborative learning, teachers guide the process, set consistent rules and objectives, and are present to assist students.
