A scientific experiment…
Created by Carol Chen Y.
 How high will the coke stream sprout into the
    air?
 How will the soda react with the mentos?
 What will happen with the mentos?
 I predict the mentos will dissolve.(Carol)
 I predict the mentos will react with the
    bubbles.(Anders)
 I think the soda stream will sprout 54 cm into
    the air.(Carol)
 2 Liters of coke, 5mentos candy.
 Safety goggles, measurement stick, paper clip,
and the trash bin to support the soda bottle
    falls down.
 Collect all of the materials needed.
 Find a safe place outside.
 Place the soda into the trash bin.
 Put on the safety goggles.
 Attach the measurement stick on the side of the trash
    bin.
 Unscrew the bottle cap.
 Tie the mentos up with the flattened paper clip.
 Put the mentos into the coke bottle.
 And Then…RUN!!!
 The soda stream went high up quickly.
 The stream was higher than 1 meter.
 It also disappeared quickly.
 Only half a liter of soda remained in the coke
    bottle.
 The mentos didn’t dissolve.
 But some of the Mentos’ skin dissolved.
 If I put mentos in to the soda, the soda will
    explode.
 The more mentos are added, the higher the
    stream sprouts.
 The explosion took only a few seconds.
 The coke stream went higher than 1 meter.
 My prediction was half wrong and half right,
    because only the skin dissolved.
 Today, we did our explosion of coke and
mentos. So first, we prepared all the materials
we needed. Second, we found a safe and quiet,
and an open place to try the experiment. Then,
which is third, we put on our safety goggles.
Next, we opened the bottle cap. Finally, we put
the mentos into the coke, and RAN!!!
