COKE AND MENTOS BOTTLE ROCKET BY ZACHARY LIAM PATRICK
WHAT WE USED coke zero Mentos Cardboard How we did it we cut the cardboard to make the wing and nose of the bottle rocket to make it more aerodynamic then we put the mentos in the bottle then close the lid and shake it up then throw it on the ground
HOW COKE AND MENTOS REACTS Mentos have tiny holes in them and diet coke is carbonated when you drop the mentos in the bottle the carbon dioxide from the coke goes into the holes on the mentos and when acids and bases mix it starts to fizz and it creates gas and the gas starts to rise but its trapped and when you open the lid it rushes out making a coca cola geyser
RESULTS our bottle rocket took a few slams but then we tried with the lid loosened then throwing up in the air and when it hit the ground it flew 12.6 ft or 3.8 metres
AND THAT’S OUR SCIENCE EXPERIMENT THANKS FOR WATCHING OUR SLIDE SHOW
