The student conducted an experiment to see how high Coke would explode when Mentos are added. They predicted the Coke would explode around 50cm high. They placed 2 liters of Coke in a trash bin with a meter stick attached for measurement. When 5 Mentos were added via a paper clip, the Coke stream rose over 1 meter before disappearing. They concluded that adding Mentos causes Coke to explode higher the more Mentos used.

 I think that the Mentos will dissolve.
 I think coke will explode like 50cm high.

4. Materials
 2 liters of coke
 5 pieces of Mentos
 Safety goggles
 Meter stick
 Paper clip

5. Procedure
1. Talk about how will we do it.
2. Collect all the materials.
3. Find safe place outside.
4. Place the soda in the trash bin.
5. Put on safety goggles
6. Attach the meter stick to the trash bin.
7. Unscrew the bottle.
8. Put the Mentos on the paper clip.
9. Put the Mentos in the bottle.

1.The stream of coke went up
really quickly and it was higher
than 1 meter.
2. The stream disappeared
quickly.
3. Half a liter of coke remained in
the bottle.
4. Mentos didn’t dissolve.

7. Conclusion
We found out that if you put
Mentos in coke it will explode.
We found out that coke
explodes higher when you put
more Mentos in it.

finally, we found out that the
coke explodes high up in the air
when you put more Mentos in
it.
