Introduction
Mountain Fresh Coffee shop is determined to become a daily necessity for local coffee addicts,
a place to dream of as you try to escape the daily stresses of life and just a comfortable place to
meet your friends or to read a book, all in one. The company will operate a 2,300 square foot coffee
bar within a walking distance from the Midwestern university. We have secured this location for
the students, lecturers, university staffs and also for the other general peoples. The operating model
and procedures for the center are explained in the following sections.
General Approach to Operations
Mountain Fresh Coffee is that kind of shop that sells coffee, other beverages and snacks. It’s major
investors are Sanaul Hasan and Hossain Farhad who cumulatively own over 70% of the
company. The start-up loss of the company is assumed in the amount of $27,680. Some of the
unique aspect of my coffee shop are as follows :
 I will only employ people who have a passion for coffee.
 All the coffee I sell will be treade certified.
 The ambience of my coffee shop will be relaxed and unhurried.
 I will give back 10% of my after tax profits to local charities.
The menu of the Mountain Fresh Coffee bar will be built around espresso-based coffee drinks such
as lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, etc.Mountain Fresh Coffee shop will make its best effort to create
a unique place where customers can socialize with each other in a comfortable and relaxing
environment while enjoying the best brewed coffee or espresso and pastries in town.

Backstage ( Behind the Scene Operation Activities)
 Staff Selection : The staff and employees will be carefully selected. Along with the skills
they need to perform their job, staff members must be able to know how to prepare all
kinds of coffee perfectly and they must be proffessional and caring to their customers.
 Operation manual: Coffee shop operational hours will prepared based on campus
operational hours. As a result students can be benefited by this shop.
 Member’s motivation: Every person have their own stresses. Our motive is to reduce our
customer’s stress, tension and try to make them fell secure, safe. Every week we will hire
a motivational speaker to motivate our customers also our staffs.
 Employee orientation: All employee will go through a 2-3 hours orientation before they
begin work.
 Employee training: Training matters especially when I will hire employees that are young
and have never really held a job before. How they serve coffee to the customers and the
experience that I want and my customers to have are all impacted by my hiring practices.

Front Stage (What the Members See and
Experience)
 Operating Hours: The shop will be open from 6.00 am to 12 am. We will open it 7 days
in a week.
 Monthly Newsletter: Customers will recieve a monthly newsletter.
 Place for party: In Mountain Fresh Coffee shop customers can celebrate their birthday
party, anniversary party, welfare, convocation party and so on. We will not charge any
extra payment for these activities.
 Coupon: There will a coupon for regular customers who will spend 100 RM in one month.
On next purchase they will ger 10% discount.
 Team Building Workshop: Team bonding activities also improve workplace projects
that involve teamwork. After completing team building activities together, employees
better understand each other's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. This understanding
helps them work even better together on future progress vital to a company.
 Environment: Customers can read various kind of books, magazine, articles in Mountain
Fresh Coffee shop. They can enjoy calm environment with soft music. Also they can use
our free wifi.

  • 2. 2 | P a g e Introduction Mountain Fresh Coffee shop is determined to become a daily necessity for local coffee addicts, a place to dream of as you try to escape the daily stresses of life and just a comfortable place to meet your friends or to read a book, all in one. The company will operate a 2,300 square foot coffee bar within a walking distance from the Midwestern university. We have secured this location for the students, lecturers, university staffs and also for the other general peoples. The operating model and procedures for the center are explained in the following sections. General Approach to Operations Mountain Fresh Coffee is that kind of shop that sells coffee, other beverages and snacks. It’s major investors are Sanaul Hasan and Hossain Farhad who cumulatively own over 70% of the company. The start-up loss of the company is assumed in the amount of $27,680. Some of the unique aspect of my coffee shop are as follows :  I will only employ people who have a passion for coffee.  All the coffee I sell will be treade certified.  The ambience of my coffee shop will be relaxed and unhurried.  I will give back 10% of my after tax profits to local charities. The menu of the Mountain Fresh Coffee bar will be built around espresso-based coffee drinks such as lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, etc.Mountain Fresh Coffee shop will make its best effort to create a unique place where customers can socialize with each other in a comfortable and relaxing environment while enjoying the best brewed coffee or espresso and pastries in town.
  • 3. 3 | P a g e Backstage ( Behind the Scene Operation Activities)  Staff Selection : The staff and employees will be carefully selected. Along with the skills they need to perform their job, staff members must be able to know how to prepare all kinds of coffee perfectly and they must be proffessional and caring to their customers.  Operation manual: Coffee shop operational hours will prepared based on campus operational hours. As a result students can be benefited by this shop.  Member’s motivation: Every person have their own stresses. Our motive is to reduce our customer’s stress, tension and try to make them fell secure, safe. Every week we will hire a motivational speaker to motivate our customers also our staffs.  Employee orientation: All employee will go through a 2-3 hours orientation before they begin work.  Employee training: Training matters especially when I will hire employees that are young and have never really held a job before. How they serve coffee to the customers and the experience that I want and my customers to have are all impacted by my hiring practices.

We will open it 7 days in a week.  Monthly Newsletter: Customers will recieve a monthly newsletter.  Place for party: In Mountain Fresh Coffee shop customers can celebrate their birthday party, anniversary party, welfare, convocation party and so on. We will not charge any extra payment for these activities.  Coupon: There will a coupon for regular customers who will spend 100 RM in one month. On next purchase they will ger 10% discount.  Team Building Workshop: Team bonding activities also improve workplace projects that involve teamwork. After completing team building activities together, employees better understand each other's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. This understanding helps them work even better together on future progress vital to a company.  Environment: Customers can read various kind of books, magazine, articles in Mountain Fresh Coffee shop. They can enjoy calm environment with soft music. Also they can use our free wifi.
