• Make sure your logos, pics, etc are all up to date and you choose
profile colors that match your brand

Password Management
• You will be juggling multiple passwords, if you write them down keep
them secure
• If you let staff use the passwords make sure you change your

• Everyone is watching – so if someone has a negative experience
with your Org or Staff – responds quickly to resolve it
• Often Twitter get better results than a customer service call
Know which account you are posting to
• Often you or your staff may be logged into the Org’s and their
personal twitter/facebook on their computer or phone and they
don’t check which account they are in before they post.
If you are going to make a joke – it should be ‘110% safe for work’
• If it could offend anyone in the slightest, don’t do it, there are
people just waiting for you to mess up
