Cloud-based storage refers to data that is maintained, backed up, and made available to users over a network remotely rather than being stored locally. While the cloud is not literally a cloud, files stored in the cloud can be both secure and private through security tools and regulatory compliance, though they are not 100% secure. The benefits of cloud-based storage include flexible costs, always-on availability, improved mobility and collaboration. Cloud-based services have changed the way business is conducted by making it easier to share and update files between coworkers from any location.

a cloud?
 The cloud is a storage is a service which data is
maintained, managed, backed up remotely, and made
available to users over a network.(Rouse)
 No it is not technically a cloud it is a satellite the stores
all of these things.

 Yes they are both secure and private but like anything
on the internet they are not 100% secure.

 Yes it does make it easier to access information
between two people because they can be emailed.
 If a company uses a cloud based storage system it is
easy for people to go back and forth through files that
need to be shared.


the way business is conducted?
 Changes busniess because it allows things to be
transferred easier to coworkers.
 Instead of saving them to a single computer or flash
drive you can save them into a cloud service where
many people can reach these things very easy.
