ความรู้ความเข้าใจที่คลาดเคลื่อนเกี่ยวกับยาเม็ดคุมก�ำเนิด
หลังมีเพศสัมพันธ์ levonorgestrel เป็นอุปสรรคที่ขัดขวางการเข้าถึงยา
และเพิ่มความเสี่ยงต่อการตั้งครรภ์ที่ไม่พึงประสงค์ซึ่งจะน�ำมาสู่
ปัญหาสุขภาพ เศรษฐานะและสังคม ตัวอย่างความเข้าใจที่คลาด
เคลื่อนเช่น “ห้ามใช้เกินเดือนละ 2 แผง” “ใช้ยานี้จะท�ำให้เป็นมะเร็ง
หรือท้องนอกมดลูก” “ยานี้เป็นฮอร์โมนขนาดสูงจะอันตรายต่อ
ร่างกายอย่างมาก” หรือ “ใช้ยานี้ก็เหมือนการท�ำแท้ง” ล้วนแต่
ไม่เป็นความจริง ซึ่งเป็นบทบาทหน้าที่ส�ำคัญที่เภสัชกรชุมชนควร
