1. Classroom rules
Before the class
1. Line up outdoors when you are waiting to enter the classroom.
2. Enter the classroom quietly and grab your folder, worksheet and books
then settle down as soon as you can.
3. Some writing practice or music will be provided when you are waiting for
the start of the lesson or you can also put the objectives of the lesson on
your notebook.
During the class
4. Lesson starts with a greeting from the teacher in Chinese, you also have
to reply in Chinese.
5. Attendance will be recorded and late students have to provide a reason
and note for being late.
6. You can raise your hand if you want to answer the question or if you have
any questions relating to the lesson, calling out is permitted when the
teacher has given instructions about it.
7. Once signals to start or stop activities are given, the class should keep
quiet.
8. Chatting, interrupting, playing on phones or computers, listening to music
are not allowed in class. Your name will be put on the board if you ignore
the rules. After the third time, you will be asked to come to the office
during recess or lunchtime, unless you improve you behaviour which
reduces your infringements.
9. If there is no infringement and you also answer questions actively,
participate activities cooperatively, finish all required tasks then you will
be rewarded with a stamp in the end of the lesson. After five stamps are
collected in three weeks you will get a notebook.
After the class
10. Home work should be put in the diary, books folders should be put back.
Pack up quietly and say goodbye to teacher.
