Laser cladding involves using a high-power laser to melt and fuse materials onto components to repair surface damage and prolong service life. It can efficiently utilize metal materials to provide wear, corrosion, and high-temperature oxidation resistance. There are different laser cladding methods, including two-step and one-step processes, powder injection, wire feeding, and using paste, with important parameters for powder injection including laser power, powder feed rate, and scanning speed.
