Today there are those that are immensely successful and are said to have the Midas touch. Men that have this
trait today seem to have a unique quality that makes all of their projects prosperous. It is my personal goal to
obtain a version of this gift. I do not want everything that I touch turn to gold. Instead, I want everyone that I
come in contact with to be better for having known me. I want them to be golden.
To accomplish this goal I have served in a wide variety of positions. Ranging from being a Swing Club Officer/
Instructor, a member of the cheer and stunt team, Finance Club Vice President, and now currently as the
Business School Senator. But even bigger than holding a position, I try to accomplish this goal by simply
having the attitude of helping others. I feel that one of my strengths is being able to talk to new people and
make connections with them. I have tried to take advantage of this strength by being friends with everyone, and
showing that friendship in sincere ways. I have enjoyed my experience at SUU and I have worked to make it a
better place.
My career goal is to be part of an influential organization that will provide me with the means to have a service-
centered future. I plan to have the Midas touch and enhance the company that I work for. When I join a new
organization I will work to quickly learn the basics of the job. Once I have mastered those tasks, I look for ways
