Abstract
Background: Low back pain patients with associated leg pain symptoms generally have a poorer
prognostic outcome compared to those with localised low back pain. Therefore, this study will
investigate the difference in clinical outcomes associated with low back pain patients with and
without self reported leg pain symptoms. This study will also address if additional co factors such
as age, sex, and occupation have an effect on the severity of these clinical outcomes. The clinical
outcomes which will be considered are pain rating, interference with active daily living (ADL)
rating, anxiety rating, depression rating and control of pain rating.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study compares adult low back pain patients with localised pain
(n = 58) to low back pain patients with self reported leg pain symptoms (n = 54) who presented for
chiropractic treatment. Patients completed the WIOC patient outcomes questionnaire as baseline
which consisted of the Bournemouth Questionnaire, recording responses from an 11 point
numerical scale (NRS). Demographic information was also collected. Differences between the two
groups using the data collected from this questionnaire were calculated using the Mann Whitney U
test. Differences between age and sex were also calculated using the test used.

From 1856 onwards the aim of turning Russia from a once agrarian, illiterate and backwards
country and into a political superpower was set. A multitude of developments began with Nicholas
II being a catalyst of change for the Russian people. Writers of Marxist Russia such as Joan Hasler1
however believe that the Tsars abdication merely prevented revolution happening for a few
years. The significance of his abdication caused demands for a new and improved governmental
structure to be in place in order to get Russia back on its feet after the devastating defeat in world
war one. New political developments took place after the abdication of the Tsar including a new
improved Duma who quickly realised they had little trust and loyalty to the tsar and decided to take

global context. The article analyzes the role and impact of the cultural perspective when dealing
with conflict in the global context. What seems like a perfectly reasonable approach in one culture
may seem ridiculous, disrespectful, inefficient, or unfair to managers from other cultures. Japanese
and German managers may be uneasy with conflict resolution preferences that differ from their

results of this study suggest that effective conflict resolution may need to begin with the
