Citizen Journalism Africa (CJA) is an EU-supported project that trains African civil society organizations in citizen journalism and using social media and web tools to report on issues like gender, children, HIV/AIDS, and rural communities. The project partners with over 80 organizations across 6 African countries. Trainings cover topics like digital storytelling, social media, and journalistic writing. Country focal points provide hands-on training and helpdesk support to local organizations and media to build networking and knowledge sharing around issues in their countries.
