Situation: In this lesson, friends get together and talk about Chinese hotpot and dumplings
Culture: Learn about Chinese hotpot and Dumplings
My original target of this lesson is showing these two
popular Chinese dishes. To build the anti-racist Chinese
Unit, I consider adding

Brief introduction of Dumplings
Dumplings have been a popular food in China for thousands of years, with some scholars
tracing their origins back to the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25-220).
Over time, dumplings became a popular food for people of all classes, and many different
regions of China developed their own unique styles and ingredients.
Today, dumplings are enjoyed not only in China but also in many other parts of the world.
Dumplings have also become an important part of Chinese culture and tradition, particularly
during Chinese New Year, where dumplings are a symbol of good luck and prosperity.
Ingredients used to make dumplings
Soy sauce/ salt For flavor
Vegetable Cabbage or any vegetable
Meat Any kinds of meat
Flour/ wrapper Home made or ready to use
