The volunteer decided to participate in a project through the European Solidarity Corps to experience something new. The project's main objective was working with children at an inclusive center called the 'Academy of Childhood' which teaches values like acceptance from a young age. As a volunteer, the person joined the daily routines of the kindergarten such as music, art, and outdoor workshops. They also participated in a conference about teachers being human too. In their spare time, the volunteer took part in English cafes and explored Estonia's beauty.

2. The beginning
I decided to participatein a volunteering projectunder the
European SolidarityCorps programmebecause I wantedto go off the
beaten path and experiencesomething completelydifferent.
I randomlysearched for volunteeringopportunitiesin Estonia and
the first page that popped up was the FRSP websitewith an offer to
volunteer in Tallinn.I didn’t hesitate, I applied and a few days later I
receiveda message that I got accepted.

3. "Children the future of Europe"
• The main objective of the project was working with children.
• I worked in an inclusive center "Academy of Childhood". The
owners of this place believe that what can change our world is
childhood, so they created a place where the children are taught
essential values such as acceptance, tolerance, solidarity, respect
and unity from the young age and as a volunteer I had the
pleasure of becoming a part of this place.

4. I worked with 14 children 2-6
years old including children with
special needs (autism, Williams
syndrome).
I joined the everyday routine of the
kindergarten by participating in
regular workshops and activities

8. fine-art workshops and painting lessons

9. taking part in the sensory
workshops

10. „Entrepreneurship from kindergarten” –
classes, workshops dedicated to pre-school
children – learning about different
professions, saving activities: money, water,
electricity, artistic competitions: who I want
to become as I grow up.

тоже человек"
• Besides working in the kindergarten I took
part - as a volunteer - in a conference " A
teacher is a human too". Its main idea was to
show that each teacher is first of all a whole
autonomous person worthy of respect and
care, like any other person.

13. English Cafe
I also took part in English Cafes organised by Kasia Pasternak – who worked as a
volunteer in Youth Club Active. We met every week with a group of people and had
conversationsabout various topics in English to practice the language together.
