Children in the past lived in large families and many experienced poverty, working in factories, while now many children are safe and receive education in schools, though some still live in poverty on the streets. In the past, parents solely chose children's clothes, and uniforms were common in some schools, while now children can buy the clothes they like, with some following expensive trends, though some care more about inner beauty than fashion. Where people once mostly ate home-cooked meals in families, sometimes without enough food, now unhealthy fast food is popular though some still experience hunger globally.

2. Children Then Now Children lived in big families. Many lived in poverty, and many of them worked in factories. Many are safe and don’t work. They learn at school. But many are not safe yet. They are poor and on the streets. How sad.

3. CLOTHES Then Now 100 years ago parents bought clothes to children and children had to accept parents choices. In some schools students must wear uniforms. Children buy the clothes they like. Some that have lot of money follow the trend and buy very expensive sport shoes. There are children who don’t care about fashion of clothes. The inner beauty is the most important to them.

4. Food Then Now 100 years ago people in Europe ate at home mostly. Women cooked every day. Some families were big, and sometimes there was not enough food for everyone. Today there are still people in the world who are hungry and thirsty. Today some of the food is not very healthy such as: pizza and hamburger. However, we love it because it is tasty.
