The students were surveyed about their commutes to school, family car usage, home heating, paper and recycling habits, school lunches, efforts to conserve electricity at school, and environmental events in their community. Most students walk, bike or take public transit to school. Families have 1-2 cars on average and make 3-4 trips per day. Home heating is typically centralized with limited temperature control. Paper recycling is not done at school but some students recycle at home. Lunches served at school and packed from home are shown. The school aims to conserve electricity by turning lights off in empty classrooms. An annual tree planting event focuses on the environment.
