WHAT SHOULD IT BE LIKE?
OUR IDEAL
SCHOOL.
Somefactsaboutus.
We are ordinary teens. We love music , and
reading is our cup of tea. we study at United
school in Martin. Our favourite subjects are :
Maths and English. At our last English lesson
our teacher asked us to make a project about
our ideal school. So let's start!
EducationinBritain
 At our last English lessons
we spoke about education in
Britain. We learned many
interesting facts about it.
For example: in Great
Britain schools have names,
not numbers like in Russia.
Now we know that children
in Britain do not have to go
to school until they reach
the age of five and only very
few go to nursery schools
before that. Then pupils
transfer to secondary
schools which are usually
much larger than primary
schools and they take pupils
from the age of 11 up to 18.
Ourschool
 Our school is quite big. It has
two buildings. One is for
students, who have technical
lessons and second is for
students who are learning
vocational subjects like
economy, management, but also
subjects like mathematics,
languages , biology, etc.
 We have two gyms in
our school. One is
small and the second
is big . for football,
floorball, volleyball
tournaments.
Ourteachers
 In our school all teachers
are very good and well-
trained. Some of them are
strict and some of them
are kind, some of them are
cheerful and some of them
are gloomy, but all of them
are fair, clever and skillful
. All teachers at our school
are understanding and
caring. They teach us very
well and they try to give
us all the knowledge they
have. And we try to help
our teachers: we do our
homework regularly and
learn all the things they
told us about.
Ouridealschool
 Now we want to tell you
about a school of our
dreams. We think that an
ideal school should have a
comfortable school building,
a good library with video ad
audio materials and a big
garden with flowerbeds. A
good canteen with plenty of
nice food is also very useful
because healthy diet is very
important for children.
Psychological help and a
good medicial centres are
necessary to support
children´s health.
Our ideal school building
 The second
building must
have two floors
and most of the
classrooms
would be placed
there . The
small one would
have a pink
colour and big
one would be
have black and
yellow colour.
Our school must be quite big and we should call it a
labyrinth.. Our school must have two buildings. The
first one would be quite small.
What would our ideal
school have
 Our school would have
big room for all students
, where would be free wi-
fi, big sofas, tables and
some machines for food.
 It would
have a big
library, where
students
could lend
books, or
read books
and
magazines.
 There should be a
buffet with free wifi
and big dining room.
 We think, that in
our ideal school
every student
should have own
locker, where he
could put his jacket,
backpack or boots
and he could take
things, that he
wants.
In our ideal
school, students
could choose
subjects that
they want and
they wouldn´t
have to learn many
subjects that
they have no use
for their studies.
Our ideal school classroom
 Our classroom would be big. There
would be large windows opposite the
door, rows of school desks and chairs.
In our classroom there would be:
 a whiteboard
 a teacher´s desk
 a notice board
 a class-register
Our ideal school uniform.
 The colours, would be black or grey.
 The idea is to make pupils look equally so that
nobody will be discriminated against because
of his social problems which could be less
money (or things like that).
Our ideal school learning
system
 We would have on average 7 lessons a
day. A lesson would be 45 minutes long.
Between the lessons we would have breaks
that would be 5 or 10 minutes long. then
we would also have a lunch break which
would be 30 minutes long.
Our ideal school special
events
 During the school year we
would have some special
events – for example:
 sports events
 school trips
 parent-teacher meetings
 graduation balls
Our ideal school subjects
 Mathematics
 Physics
 Chemistry
 Biology
 Geography
 History
 Foreign languages
 Technical subject
 Physical education
