 Pakistan is adeveloping state.
 Pakistan is going through various problems and issues.
 These issues are from various origins having long lasting
impact on the stability of the economy and the goodwill of
country.
 The problems are being divided in to several heads
amongst which one of the very important head is the

Illiteracy
 Education = Cheapest defense of anation
 Un educated people = No impact on thecountry
 According to the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan:
“The state of Pakistan shall remove illiteracy and
provide free and compulsory secondary education
withinminimum possible period.”

importance of worker commitment
to the rules ofindustrial safety.
- Lead to the publication of illiteracy,
unemployment and poverty.
- Illiteracy impede thegrowth of
individuals socially.
-Affect illiterate mothers and fathers -
especially mothers -on the level of
education of children.
Illiteracies impact on society is that, it works
as an inhibitor. That is to say, the more
illiterate people there are in a country, the
harder it will be for the country to develop.
 Govt. should take followingmeasures:
Increase education budget
Establishmore schoolsand appoint qualified and trained teachers
Technicaleducation must be given to all the classes.
Promote primaryeducation
 Equal education forboys and girls
 Equal education in allregions
Solutions:
Role Of Government
 Should establish moreschools.
 Education should befree.
 More concentration on Adult education.
 Education should be equal for all the society
members so that they create the environment of
faith and discipline.
 Different seminars should be arrange to provide
information.
UNEMPLOYEMENT
Unemployment:
It is the state in which a person is without
work , available to work, and is currently
seeking work.
What Is Unemployment ?
 Like other developed and developing country
Pakistan is also a victim of unemployment.The
unemployment rate in Pakistan for the year 2014-2015
is 6 percent.

 Over population and limited job.
 Faulty education Lack of vocational institutes.
 Wrong Governmentpolitics.

 Unemployment causes depression,
dissatisfaction, anxiety, hopelessness and many
other negative emotional states.
 shrinking economy has weakened the
government credibility amongst the
people.
 Unemployment makes society weak
and stops its productive power.
 Childhood labour have become common
because of unemployment.
 When people are unemployed the consume the
resources but are unable to contribute in overall
economy which results in poverty
 Unemployed young people cannot see the future and may
be subject to the influence drugs and may become robbers,
thieves or terrorist.Poverty is also a mother of all problems,
people turn toward crime & violence.
SOLUTIONS
 Quality education and promotion of vocational
institute.
 Right gov’t politics.
 Proper planning regarding population.
 Eradication of corruption and energy crisis.

 Vocational Institutes should be opened
not only in cities but also in villages.
 Education should be up to the mark.
 Weshould take full benefit from science and
technology to cure this problem.

be opened to increase availability of jobs.

Child Labour
The term “child labor” is often defined as:
“work that deprives children of their childhood,
their potential and their dignity, and that is harmful to
physical and mental development.”

BUT This is also
“LIFE”
Child labor has became a major issue throughout the world but
in the developing countries , like Pakistan, it has grown to the
maximum level.
This problem is becoming intense with every passing day
because a large number of children are forced to work which is
completely against the law.
According to United nations international children emergency
funds (UNICEF), there are approximately 158M children aged 5-18
working as child labor worldwide.
Overview
A FACT
 Pakistan is amongst the top ten countries having the issue of child labor.
 Children aged 5-15 are 40M in Pakistan.
 50% of these economically active are between the age of 5-10 years.
 Out of 40M ,approximately 4 million ( 73% boys, 27% girls) are working in
agriculture sector.

 They have not been given the right to go to school and
get education.
 Destroys their personality.
 Became submissive just likeservants.
 Bear the inhuman behaviour.

 The employee Children’s Act 1991.
 Punjab compulsory Education’s Act 1994.
 Government gives free books to primary schools so
parents with limited budget are able to send their kids
to school
PAKISTAN’S EFFORTS
DrugAddiction
Drug addiction is a complex brain disease. It is characterized
by compulsive, at times uncontrollable, drug craving, seeking,
and use that persist even in the face of extremely negative
consequences. Getting addicted to drugs is also a form of
suicide as it spreads its poison and damages the body slowly.
What is Drug Addiction ?
 Pakistan is today notorious for many things, but in the last 20
years, drug production and addiction has increasingly become
just one of them.
 Pakistan is the worst victim of the drug trade in South Asia.
 Today, the country has the largest heroin consumer market in
the south-west Asia region.
 Pakistan became a major exporter of heroin in the 1980.
