Overview My name is  Chih-Ling Chao I started school in  1974  in Chung Hsin Elementary (Keelung, Taiwan) I graduated from high school in  1985  in Keelung Girls’ High (Keelung, Taiwan) I first went to college at Ming Chuan University in  1987  (Taipei, Taiwan) and later went to the University of West Florida in  1994~1997 When I finish my degree, I hope to become a Chinese Language Teacher at secondary level
My definition  of educational technology …  is a  multi-channel super highway   which offers an  easy step by step   online learning environment  for students  who can’t go to the traditional classroom  but can learn on their own time and pace  in a  practical , an  affordable , and an  efficient  way

Kindergarten technology TV  was the only technology back to the time period in my early childhood
High school technology IBM  computers were available back to that time All programs were under  DOS system Used the computer for  typing  purpose only
College technology Experienced in  Lotus  and  word processing Widow operating system  was launched Netscape  and  Eudora e-mail  were available
A vivid technology  learning experience Elluminate - offers participants to share information and resources not only in an audio setting but also in a visual or written format during a scheduled meeting
A technology I want to use in my classroom An online multimedia Chinese language tutorial learning package
My vision of the classroom  of the future A global mobile classroom  -   I would like my students being able to learn their lessons any time they want and any place they go.
A challenge for teaching The  cost  of buying or using high tech equipments and devices will be a challenge or barrier to instructors and learners
