2. Roles & Task
Ground Commander (SFSSI Rizal)
- Setup the Incident Command Post.
- Deploy the monitoring, mitigation and decon team.
- Liaise with Incident commander on the updates of the incident obtained from FSO Ranjith.
Water Supply Team (SFSSI Maon and FSI Ther)
- SFSSI Maon to lay 1x 64mm hose from hydrant. Once done, operate hydrant. Wait for instruction
to ‘ON’ the hydrant.
- FSI Ther to lay 1x 64mm hose from midway to breeching.
Monitoring Team (FSO Ranjith)
- Demarcate the zoning areas.
- Continue to monitor the atmosphere between the Warm Zone & the Hot Zone.
- Update the Ground Commander on the progress of the mitigation in the Hot Zone through radio
sets.
Protection Jet (SFSI Win)
- To bring the breeching to the Warm Zone. To lay 1x 38mm hose from breeching to nozzle. Once
done, protect the Mitigation Team using Fog spray to disperse the vapour.
Mitigation Team (SFSI Hazin & FSI Bobby)
- Don the VPS, do snatch rescue of the casualty near the source. Point to note, DO NOT enter the
hot zone without the protection jet manned by SFSI Win.
- Once done with snatch rescue, continue to mitigate the source.
- Do a secondary search on any casualties surrounding the source before withdraw from the HOT
Zone.
3. Roles & Tasks
Decon Team ( 2 CTO DTS )
- Upon arrival, don the decon suit and setup the Decon Shower and the suit drop.
- Asisst in decon process for casualty and bring the casualty to the border of Cold Zone using the
stretcher and leave it for another 2 CTO DTS stationed at the Cold Zone to bring the casualty to
the First Aid Point.
- Also assist the decon process for the Mitigation Team once the mitigation is complete and assist
them in doffing off the VPS and put it in the yellow plastic bag.
First Aiders (SFSI Jimmy & SFSSA Ishak)
- To Setup the First Aid Point inside the tentage beside the Incident Command Post.
- To render First Aid to the casualty and transfer it to the ambulance for conveyance to Hospital.
- To monitor and update the Casualty status board.
EE Team
- To setup tentage for use of the Incident Command Post and First Aid Point.
GBO Team
- To assist in setting up tentage and if need of 2nd tentage, GBO will setup.
