This document provides a critical evaluation of two educational artifacts: "The Discovery Bay Challenge" and "Mervyn Bishop photographer". The evaluator rated "The Discovery Bay Challenge" highly at 10.5/15 because it engaged students and promoted higher-order thinking. "Mervyn Bishop photographer" received a low rating of 4/15. It failed to engage students or promote intellectual quality, create a quality learning environment, or enable significant learning. It was a linear presentation with no interactivity or opportunities for student input. While it portrayed the work of an Aboriginal photographer, it did not relate this to students or make interdisciplinary connections.
