This document provides a personal evaluation of the author's practicum experience teaching kindergarten. The author reflects on having to adapt their teaching style to younger learners, including designing shorter activities and engaging students through imaginative methods. They found it challenging to keep students' attention when introducing new topics and helping with worksheets. Over time, the author learned to switch between the roles of entertainer, observer, organizer and controller as needed. While they felt their age and teaching style did not fully suit kindergarten, the experience helped them recognize strengths and weaknesses as well as the versatility needed to teach young children.
