The document outlines casting ideas for characters in a horror film. It proposes Jack Zaborni to play the villainous step-father who abuses his two step-daughters. 2. The Antagonist/ Villain
In our opening scene the antagonist will be
played by Jack Zaborni. He plays an evil
step-dad called Martin who abuses his two
step daughters. He seems to be a normal
man in his 30’s which tricks the mum into
thinking he is nice, it’s a easy way for him to
hide his evil identity as it comes as a shock
to the mother when he kills her children.
If we were actually going to
produce a real funded film we
would hire Patrick Wilson. He
plays the dad role in Insidious
and he would be a good actor
to play the part.

3. The Protagonist/ victim
The protagonist in our film will be
played by Eleanor Harper. She plays a
mother in our film who's new husband
has just moved in to the family home.
The mother is unaware of the step-dads
action towards her two daughters. This
leads her waking up in the night
screaming, wondering if it was a dream
or reality. However later it all becomes
real. Leaving herself haunted by her two
children; eventually killing herself.
If the film was to be produced,
we would hire Vera Farmiga to
play the victim mum. She plays
the mum in Orphan (2009), like
in our film, playing the part of a
protagonist.

4. The Children
The two children in our film will be played by
Saffron Smith and Lucy Harper. These
characters are both killed by their step dad
whilst their mother is out. However when the
mothers dream comes a reality, the spirits of
the children come back to haunt her.
The two children in our film if it was to be
produced, would be played by Chloe Moretz
who plays carrie in the film carrie and Elle
Fanning who is in the film Maleficent. They
both fit the age of the characters we were
aiming for in our film.
