3. Who is Jenny Black?
 Our main character is a young teenage girl named
Jenny Black, played by Lauren Edmonds
 Jenny is a disturbed girl who watched her parents
die in a tragic fire at the age of five, she is still
haunted by the horror of the arson attack twelve
years later.

4. What about the plot?
 The film starts off giving a insight into Jenny Black’s
current mental state. The journey of a young girl,
who’s childhood was corrupted by the tragic loss of
her parents, which leads her to a life of mental
traumas and reveals a dark side of her that no one
ever expected. As Jenny discovers who killed her
parents, she wants revenge, and with her twisted
mind it will be brutal...

5. The Title Sequence
The title sequence shows Jenny in her bedroom. Sitting
on her bed she seems to be a normal teenage girl,
however after the phone call from an unknown caller
she transforms into a psychotic, rage filled killer. She
displays signs of this through the evil killing of her own
teddy bear. We are shown an insight into her mental
health from the pills and tablets she leaves lying around
her room. The sequence ends with Jenny leaving her
room giving no information on her whereabouts.

6. Which sequence has
influenced you and why?
 We were originally influenced by the film ‘Orphan’
(2009). We adapted the idea behind this opening
sequence and due to it being a montage we decided
not to go ahead and develop the montage editing.
We took inspiration from the film ‘Orphan’, where the
main character is played by a psychotic girl
‘Esther’(Isabelle Furhmen).
 The psychotic girl ‘Jenny Black’ draws comparisons
to ‘Esther’ in the film ‘Orphan’ which we researched
thoroughly.
