This document provides an overview and summary of key points from Chapter 7 of The Gospel According to Spiritism titled "Blessed are the Poor in Spirit". It begins by exploring the meaning of being "poor in spirit" and defines it as being humble, modest, and not prideful. It discusses how those who exalt themselves will be degraded while mysteries are hidden from the learned and prideful but revealed to those like children who are humble. The document contrasts pride and humility, advising that God will grant the kingdom of heaven to the humble. It describes the intelligent person's mission on Earth is to use their gifts to benefit others, not for pride. It concludes by providing information on the volunteer event "Make a Difference

This is a study of Jesus rebuking backsliders. Christians can grow cold in their love for Jesus and He hates it, and warns of the great danger of judgment if we do not get restored in our love for Him.

31 reasons people_do_not_receive_their_financial break through murdock_mikeKaturi Susmitha
Prosperity is the most controversial subject today in Christianity.
Why is it?
Ignorance
. There isunbelievable ignorance about its
purpose
on the earth. You see, its purpose is to
help you complete your Assignment on earth.
Many are ignorant about the
principles that produce
prosperity. That also is easy to answer.Money is merely a reward for solving a problem.
When you solve problems for others, you generatemoney.
Many are ignorant about the Source of financial blessing—your Heavenly Father. Many areignorant about the Master Key to Financial Prosperity—the Master Key of Wisdom. “Riches andhonour are with Me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. That I may cause those that love Me toinherit substance; and I will fill their treasures,” (Proverbs 8:18, 21).
When you increase your Wisdom, you will increase your wealth.
“Length of days is in her righthand; and in her left hand riches and honour,” (Proverbs 3:16). Wisdom produces financial blessing.“Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his
righteousness endureth for ever,” (Psalm 112:1, 3). The confusion is unnecessary.
The only cure for confusion is the Wisdom of God.
You can simply ask, and He has promised togive it to you. “If any of you lack Wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, andupbraideth not; and it shall be given him,” (James 1:5).
Every parent needs money.
“But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of hisown house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel,” (1 Timothy 5:8). “If ye then, beingevil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is inHeaven give good things to them that ask Him?” (Matthew 7:11).
Every minister is worthy of abundant finances.
“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthyof double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thoushalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, the labourer is worthy of his reward,” (1Timothy 5:17-18).
Hypocrisy abounds. It seems highly acceptable to be wealthy, yet unacceptable for Christians todiscuss it.
This kind of hypocrisy is cancerous. Pharisees are still among us. Slinging accusations andcries of “materialistic,” they stride across the stage of mocked discipleship, making the
appearance
of sacrifice. Many others who have been broken and torn apart by financial losses, stare confused withenvious eyes and jealous hearts at those who are sitting at the Table of Plenty. Still others, trying toustify their lack and losses, insist that prosperity is a matter of the
sovereignty of God
—something Healone decides without the participation of men. If Prosperity is the sovereignty of God there is neitherreward for Wisdom nor penalty for ignorance.
the most vast work transmitted to humanity through Jakob Lorber; it presents a history narrated by Jesus Christ Himself, describing Lord’s and His closed ones’ lives in the last three years of His life on earth, containing a great number of wonders, dialogues and teachings that greatly develop and enrich the records from the Gospels of Matthew and John; it also contains detailed revelations explaining essential passages from the Old and the New Testament and predictions concerning events occurring during the last 2000 years, culminating with facts that characterize the technological civilization of the XX-th Century and disclosures of a scientific nature which were validated long time after Jakob Lorber wrote about them. In the Great Gospel of John, one can practically find the essential answers to all the fundamental questions of life – these are to be found in the clear, but also extraordinary deep descriptions of the divine and human nature, of the creation and the material and spiritual evolution.

This is a study of Jesus being aware of all secrets. Jesus and the Father have full awareness of all that people do in secret and so it is folly to think you can hide anything from them.
Jesus was saying all secrets will be revealedGLENN PEASE
This is a study of Jesus saying all secrets will be revealed. There can be nothing hidden from God, and all that men try to keep secret will be an open book in God's timing.
Today we will learn and reflect on the teaching of St Gregory of Nyssa, who was the poet among the fourth century Cappadocian Church Fathers. His beautiful series of sermons on the Beatitudes are referenced three times in the Catholic Catechism, twice under the commandment DO NOT ENVY.
These are the beatitudes:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
We will also ponder:
• Parable of the Rich Fool
• Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, the beggar
• Parable of the Unforgiving Servant
• Story of Cain and Abel
• Story of the Stoning of St Stephen, the first Christian martyr
• Story of Enslavement of Joseph, and how he forgave and saved his brothers
• Need for mercy

This is a study of Jesus giving hosting advice. He told the host to stop inviting friends and family and rich neighbors to you dinners. Instead, give a banquet for the poor, the crippled, the lame and blind. They cannot repay you but the Lord will repay you in the resurrection. Change your guest list for the blessing.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

3. OUTLOOK OF TODAY‟S TOPIC
What should be understood by the words „poor in
spirit‟?
He who exalts himself shall be debased
Mysteries that are hidden from the learned and
prudent
Pride and humility
Mission of the intelligent person on Earth
Make a Difference Day
5. Blessed are the poor in spirit:
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven
(Matthew, 5: 3)
6. WHAT DOES POOR IN SPIRIT
MEAN
Poor in Spirit means being Humble
1. Marked by meekness or modesty in behavior, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or
prideful.
2. Showing deferential or submissive respect: a humble apology.
3. Low in rank, quality, or station; unpretentious or lowly: a humble cottage.
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/humble
Remember: The riches in heaven are not the same as on Earth
Do you admit the existence of an invisible world?
Do you admit the existence of a higher power?
9. At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus,
saying, Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of
Heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto
Him, and set him in the midst of them, and said,
Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted,
and become as little children, ye shall not enter
into the Kingdom of Heaven. Whosoever
therefore shall humble himself as this little child,
the same is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
And who shall receive one such little child, in my
name, receiveth me
(Matthew 18:1-5)
10. HE WHO EXALTS HIMSELF
SHALL BE DEBASED
Debased = To lower in character, quality, or value; degrade. See Synonyms
at adulterate, corrupt, degrade. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/debase)
Child = who holds no pretension to superiority or infallibility
He that humbles himself shall be exalted and he who exalts himself shall be
debased
13. At that time Jesus answered and said: I thank
thee, O Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth,
because thou hast hid these things from the
wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto
babes
(Matthew, 11: 25)
14. MYSTERIES THAT ARE
HIDDEN FROM THE
LEARNED AND PRUDENT
Learned and Prudent – People that have preconceived ideas…
Babies – Eager to learn, humble, attentive
Same applies today with the great truth revealed by Spiritism
The power of God manifests itself in all things, from the smallest to the
greatest.
God does not hide His light, … only those who are blind do not see.
God does not wish anyone‟s eyes to be opened by force
God listens kindly to those who direct themselves to Him with humility
All these correct choices and decisions show the maturity of the Spirit
18. PRIDE AND HUMILITY
Blessed be the Lord for the grace that He has granted us of being able to
help you improve…
Humility is a virtue much forgotten amongst you…
Pride is the terrible adversary of humility.
All men are equal on the divine scale of justice; only virtue marks the
distinction in the eyes of God.
All Spirits come from the same essence and all bodies are formed from the
same matter.
God will grant the Kingdom of Heaven to … who have confidence in Him
God will not abandon you.
19. PRIDE AND HUMILITY
Maintain yourself pure in the eyes of God if you do not want your Guardian
Angel to turn from you
Be indulgent with the faults of your brothers and sisters, pondering that you
are not exempt from guilt
…bow down your head before this trial.
Christ gave His doctrine to you, giving examples of all the virtues
“Let the voices of the Spirits echo in your hearts. Be generous and charitable
without ostentation, that is to say, do good with humility. Let each one, little
by little, begin to demolish the altars erected by everyone to their pride. In a
word, if you are a true Christian you will possess the kingdom of truth”
20. PRIDE AND HUMILITY
Do not continue to doubt the goodness of God when He is giving so many proofs of this fact.
We have come to prepare the way so that the prophesies may be fulfilled.
At some possible future time, when the Lord gives you a more resounding demonstration of His clemency, may His
celestial messenger find you gathered together in a great family.
It is hoped that by then, your hearts being gentle and mild, you will be worthy to hear the divine words He would offer.
May the Chosen One encounter only laurels in His path which have been laid there by your having returned to goodness,
charity and fraternity amongst men.
Then will your world become an earthly Paradise.
However, if you remain insensible to the voices of the Spirits who have been sent to purify and renew your civilized
society, which although rich in science, is so poor in noble sentiments, then sadly there will be nothing left for you but
tears and groans of unhappiness.
But that will not happen!
You will return to God the Father, and all of us who have contributed to the fulfilling of His wishes will join together in
singing a hymn of thanksgiving for His unbounding goodness, so as to glorify Him throughout all the coming ages. So be
it.
LACORDAIRE (Constantine, 1863)
22. MISSION OF THE INTELLIGENT
PERSON ON EARTH
Never be prideful of what you know...
If God, within His designs, causes you to be born in an ambient where you could
develop this intelligence, then it was because He wished you to use it for the benefit
of everyone.
You have been given a mission by the fact of God having placed an instrument in
your hands, which can be used to develop the retarded intelligences around you,
and so conduct them to God.
Is not the nature of the instrument an indication as to the purpose it should be used
for?
Does not the hoe which the gardener gives to his assistant, show to what use it
should be put?
Then he will pass through many miserable existences full of humiliations, until he
finally bows down before Him to Whom he owes everything.
23. MISSION OF THE INTELLIGENT

24. MISSION OF THE INTELLIGENT
PERSON ON EARTH
Intelligence holds great riches in future merits, provided it is well employed.
If all men and women who possessed it used it in conformity with God's
wishes, then it would be easy for the Spirits to perform their task of helping
humanity advance.
Mankind abuses intelligence as it does all the other faculties…
If all men and women who possessed it used it in conformity with God's
wishes, then it would be easy for the Spirits to perform their task of helping
humanity advance.
Unhappily, many have become instruments of pride and perdition against
themselves.
