Whether we help build homes for people, collect food donations or work in an animal shelter, we’ll feel better about ourself every time we walk out the doors of that organization. While we can always stay at home and write the organization a check, we will never feel nearly as good as we do when we actually get out of the house and get active. Volunteering not only improves our mental health but improves our physical health too.
