The group originally planned to film their thriller in a hospital but hospitals were either in use or unsafe. They then considered filming at a Victorian manor but the location's schedule did not align with theirs. They changed the story from being set solely in a hospital to include dark corridors after realizing they could not film in a hospital. The group will now star in the thriller themselves instead of relying on other actors, to ensure their vision is properly executed.

At the beginning of our project we planned to film our thriller in a hospital, we couldn’t as
hospitals are always in use and the ones that had been shut down were a danger hazard and we
would have had to had proper supervision. Another problem with using hospitals was that we
would be disturbing the ill patients and this would be unfair on them.
The location we then planned to film in was a Victorian manor. After looking around Brentwood
there were a few but the one which stood out the most was Mary Green Manor. Unfortunately
the times and days the managers wanted us at the location didn’t fit in our time schedule so we
couldn’t work here.

3. Ideas
At the start our group had an idea that we would film our thriller in a hospital and a hospital only. The
mental girl would walk through the corridor and then be pictured in a seat having a fit. We then changed this
idea to her walking down a dark corridor instead of a hospital because filming in a hospital was not allowed.
We then made our final decision to be; a Victorian girl pouring drinks and greeting people into her house.
This then flashes to her still pouring drinks but located in a white room on her own. The scene then switches
to the girl walking down a dark, gloomy corridor.
The changes were made after realising where our thriller was going to be filmed and we worked our ideas
around the location. There was no point deciding it was going to be in a hospital if we couldn’t even film in
one. The ideas I feel improved as the course went on and this is good as our thoughts were getting better as
we looked at more thrillers and saw how we could work on from original films.

4. Characters
At first we wanted to use all different characters other than us in the thriller. This was so we
could see what the thriller looked like whilst it was being filmed. This idea didn’t work out as we
couldn’t find characters who had the time and who could act the way we wanted our thriller to
look.
Now we have decided we should be in our own thriller so we can express and act the way we
planned. Now we know we are going to be more committed to the filming as we are going to be
in it ourselves. Will know we wont be let down by completing the acting ourselves.
