Colorado Community College System's CHAMP Navigator Status Report at the Leadership Committee meeting presentation summary of Year 1 of the TAACCCT CHAMP grant December 5, 2014

1. The Navigators
• Curriculum for the Employability and Student Success Course that Brenda
transformed into the Employability MOOC. Almost 700 people have enrolled in
this course.
• Student Success experience at each college that meets the needs of the students
and the specific programs of the college. Some navigators are teaching a stand
alone student success course; others are embedding modules into content
courses; some are providing one to one instruction for students.
• 7 internships for students(RRCC)
• 10 leads for internships (PPCC)
• Co-location at Workforce Center for some hours (PPCC)
• NAPE Stem Equity Pipeline Training in September (PCC, PPCC, FRCC, MSU)
