CHALLENGES CONT.
• Corruption
There is a big problem to tackle because
some officers and politicians use funds
which are provided for the school or
additional enhancement for their personal
usage.
• Unawareness
Teachers and students are not aware about
the methods and teachers are not aware
about the teaching techniques so that the
student do not lose their interest in
education.
• Quality of Teacher
The quality of teachers is going downwards and the
teacher is the only person who can change the
society in a big way, but if teachers are not good,
then the students will be affected and future
generation will be bad for the society.
• Casteism
We can still hear casteism in education and
at many places which stops the children of
the lower cast to study, and they face
discrimination at some levels.

Page 05
• Rat race/ Inefficiency to
extract students
interest
Not only our education, but in our society, we are
obsessed with IAS, doctors and engineer due to
which other stream education are highly ignored.
So many students are having interest in arts,
literature, languages, animation, etc. but many
times they are forced to pick up signs and math
because of the society pressure.
There is a huge difference in the quality
of education provided by the private
schools and that of the government
school, including infrastructure issues.
• Better equipped
government schools
CHALLENGES CONT.
• Political
unwillingness
If some political party want to work, then the
opposition will do the questioning, sometimes
political parties do not want to work and the
problem in the education policy so is the big
issue.
• Unemployme
nt
There is also a major issue for
unemployment in the current scenario and
this work as a mirror for others. This is also
why some families want their children to do
something else rather than studying.
• Poverty
This is one of the major problems we have in our
education system, fees of some institutes are so
high, and there is less seat in the government
organization making education a dream for some
aspirant..
• Privatization and
fees
Another issue is the problem in getting seats in
government organizations as there are less seats
available so people run for private Institute and
therefore the fees becomes a problem there. So the
education is not available for everybody at some
extent.

Page 07
• Engineering, medical and
other colleges -Used Merely
For Commercialisation
The privatization of education is good, but
sometimes the fees is too high to be afforded by
a poor. Government should decide or fix the fees
structure as per the government standard.
There are so many government bodies
like UGC (university grants commission)
AICTE(all India council of technical
education), MCI (medical council of
India), NCTE (national council of teacher,
education) so sometime this multi
regulatory system is also a hurdle
because any proposal you need. It
needs a lot of approval from so many
departments. The new colleges get the
certificate if they are not up to the
market due to corruption or
coordination in multi regulatory bodies
• Multi Regulatory
System
CONCLUSI
ON
These challenges are troublesome
to tackle overnight but the good
thing is that the Indian
Government is taking initiatives to
curb the issue. We will move into
the remedies now.
