This document provides information about Knowledge Sharing and Innovation (KSI) activities at ICRISAT, including data services, information services, education services, and innovations. Specific ongoing KSI activities mentioned are establishing food testing laboratories in 5 African countries, setting up agribusiness incubators in universities in Africa, and enabling knowledge sharing platforms and ICT4D models for research dissemination.

11. Ongoing Activities
Establishment of Food Testing Laboratories (FTLs) in 5 African
countries (Gambia, Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Rwanda and Zimbabwe). funded by the Ministry of Food Processing
Industries; Govt. of India.
Setting up of agribusiness incubators in the agricultural universities
and research institutes in African countries. ICRISAT through FARA has facilitated
establishment of six agribusiness incubators in five countries (Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Zambia and Mali). funded by DANIDA.
Enable knowledge sharing platforms for providing research results.
Up-scaling of proven ICT4D models and innovative extension
systems (Seed Information Management System, AgMIP and CCAFS).
On-site and virtual training programs and capacity building
activities for enhancing capacities of various stakeholders in the
regions.
