- 3. In this nation, where 227 million2 people are running races to get a job, we should all start earlier. we college students can work for the people to learn our careers.
- 4. The College Education Scenario There are colleges of every academic discipline in this country. But most of the students in these colleges only learn their subjects well and do not prepare for the work field they will be joining.
- 5. Choice of Profession All of us college students who enroll into any academic course need to focus on a priority as per their liking as to where each one of us would be placed after we complete our college education. And thus proper training is required to enhance our skills to fit out choice of profession.
- 6. There are students in all the 20,798 higher education institutes all over the country. All these students are capable of doing well in their respective work discipline. It is relevant to state that we wont learn our disciplines unless we know what to learn.
- 7. Let’s take just one discipline for example… We engineers aspire to be in a field of work that would suit our trades. And the very low employability rate depicts our lack of knowledge in our respective field of work. We need to learn what we will do in our future. We need to learn to work.
- 8. Every college can be assigned local projects that would be supervised by our faculties and the local authorities. [Electrical engineers into electrical work] [Computer science to computer science implementations] [BBA/MBA students to management tasks] AND SO ON…
- 9. Give us projects… All of us students can work on our own domains to create something that would be implemented. Let us work for our government. Let us learn.
- 10. We shall learn to make things. We shall learn to create industry. We shall all learn to contribute towards our career and India’s economy. We should be given a chance to work for general benefits to learn what we must learn to get our own jobs.
