Every living thing is made up of cells, which make up tissues and organs throughout the body like blood, bone, leaves of plants, and stems of plants. The human body contains trillions of cells, with the brain containing more nerve cells than there are stars in the Milky Way galaxy. Red blood cells only live for around 120 days on average.
