Homes of Promise owns and operates Izzy’s Place, a
Christian recovery home for men in La Verne, California. We
provide a safe, sober and Christ-centered housing
environment for men who have a desire to live with others
that look to Jesus Christ for guidance and direction on the
road to recovery. We utilize the Celebrate Recovery®
program, which is a time-tested, Christian 12-step program
founded thru Saddleback Church in Lake Forest California.

At the core of every Celebrate Recovery program is the belief
that Jesus Christ is the one and only Higher Power. The
program is a Christ-centered ministry, and at Homes of
Promise, we are committed to upholding that principle. We
also proudly comply with the Celebrate Recovery small group
guidelines.

4. About Izzy’s Place
Izzy’s Place is named for our intake manager, whose own
background in recovery has equipped him to minister effectively
to those beginning their journey. The home is a beautiful, historic
house in an excellent neighborhood, where guests can feel secure
and supported in their efforts to maintain sobriety in the long
term. We are a Christian recovery home where guests hold each
other accountable and receive support and assistance in personal
growth, time management, job search and goal setting.
If these are the values you are looking for in a recovery home,
then we welcome your call. We may require our guests complete
a medically-supervised detox program before coming to live with
us. Guests stay with us for one year; this is designed to improve
the success rate of their sobriety.
